      Game Notes
Louisiana Tech goes to play an New Mexico State team, that is on a three game roll, with out three of their top offensive performers including their All- WAC quarterback. The Aggies defense that has been very good the last three weeks may get a boost if George Callender comes back into the starting safety spot. Also, the offense get a healthy Tanner Rust, after missing over half of the game against Idaho, looking to but up big numbers against one of the worst defenses in the WAC.

Here D. Johnson(#9) intercepts a T. Hakmi pass midway through the third quarter. The Aggie's defense was stifling again forcing 4 turnovers and getting constant pressure on the opposing quarterback.

        S. McIntyre(#82) celebrates after catching a 27 yard touchdown pass from T. Rust. Rust had an average day throwing two touchdowns and two picks for 249 yards.

        K. Turner(#3) puts the final nail in this game with a four yard touchdown rush late in the fourth quarter. Turner only gained just over 80 yards but he scored two touchdowns on the day.

            Game Notes
Last week the New Mexico State Aggies became bowl eligible at 6-4, winning their last four games and they look to continue their impressive winning streak this weekend against Utah State. New Mexico State should be able to put up some good numbers against this below 100 overall defense, especially their questionable at best secondary. Another key to the game is for Tanner Rust to limit his mistakes and keep the offense on the field.

              K. Turner(#3) fights his way through two tacklers to get into the endzone early in the 2nd quarter. K. Turner had a very disappointing day on the ground rushing for just over 30 yards on 19 carries, but he did have a touchdown.

              B. Adolpho(#36) jumps in front of an A. Kennedy pass and intercepts it. The Aggies defense played a pretty decent game, but allowed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter giving Utah State the close win.

              T. Rust(#8) throws a heartbreaking interception in the endzone with just 21 seconds left on the clock. Other then this interception Rust had the offense moving through the air with just over 250 yards passing.

                  Game Notes
Both of the teams are coming off of emotional games, New Mexico State looks to rebound after their 20-16 loss to Utah State and Nevada looks to keep on the seven game roll after their 35-19 blowout of Fresno State. The Aggies are going to have a hard time rebounding, because Nevada has one of the top offenses in college football and New Mexico States defense just cannot keep up with the speed. If the Aggies want to have a chance they are going to need to put up points against this very stingy defense.

                      K. Turner(#3) breaks off a 24 yard run in the first quarter, which was the Aggies biggest play all game. Turner had a decent day rushing for 66 yards, averaging 6.1 yards per a carry.

Here B. Adolpho(#36) intercepts a pass for two consecutive weeks. The Aggies defense would probably like to forget this performance, allow over 500 yards of total offense and over 300 rushing yards.

                      T. Rust(#8) gets sacked for a 9 yard loss halfway through the third quarter. Rust did not play very well throwing two picks and spent most of the day on the ground.

                                Game Notes
Both of these teams are hungry for a much over due bowl win, but Colorado State appears to have the edge in this game. New Mexico State is coming off a disappointing 52-0 loss to Nevada and looks to rebound after giving up over 300 yard of rushing, but it won't be so easy against a Colorado State team that plays harder competition and is more than ready for this game.
