Just realized the box score is wrong, especially Flanagan's rushing numbers. Will fix it later
But Haley has come in and recruited a few guys that weren't on the board.. I wish the editor could be used for teambuiilder dynasties so I could edit his presitge.. Think a few guys would want to come out and play for him just because his past experience.Comment

UNF Honors Seniors at Annual Dinner
May. 1, 2017
JACKSONVILLE, Fla — North Florida University honored nearly 70 seniors in the annual athletic senior dinner that represented all campus athletics, Monday night.
Along with the senior awards, the athletic department handed out six awards to student-athletes in various categories, including Most Outstanding Athlete, Student Athlete of the Year, Sportsmanship Award, Outstanding Academic Performance, and Ospreys Spirit.
Aaron Dodds, a tight end, housed the Sportsmanship Award while fellow UNF student-athletes were honored the remainder of accolades. The 2017 football class is one of significance, as each player previously transferred to North Florida after playing four seasons of football at Bethune-Cookman. Their departures will go down in the record books as the "first" football class to graduate from the program that concluded their inaugural season last November.
The following are the specific honorees of the UNF football team and a capsule of their accomplishments in their lone year with the Ospreys.

Senior Football Gallery/Stats:
Note: These "transfers" are really just glitches from the TeamBuilder file. I made all players seniors when making this team but for some reason these guys didn't graduate after the first season, but instead turned into redshirt seniors. Seriously doubt we would've won a single game without them lol

UNF Announces 2017 Football Schedule
UNF Ospreys Football
May. 4, 2017
JACKSONVILLE, Fla — North Florida University's football team, under new head coach Todd Haley, will open its 2017 season at Florida University on Saturday, Aug. 29.
A year removed as a FBS Independent member, UNF will enter its 12-game 2017 slate with eight Sun Belt Conference contests and four non-conference games. The Ospreys will play five games at EverBank Field and seven games on the road.
The Ospreys will face off on the road against South Florida for the second consecutive year before playing their homecoming match a week later against crosstown FCS rival, University of Jacksonville, on Saturday, Sept. 19.
After its home-opener against JU, North Florida will open conference play against South Alabama University on Sept. 26. The Ospreys will then enter a two game road skid against Western Kentucky and Arkansas State before returning to EverBank Field for Idaho, on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Preceding an off week, the Ospreys will have a big task at hand against highly touted Tennessee. The Vols placed second in the SEC in 2016, receiving a Capital One Bowl bid against Nebraska where they defeated the Cornhuskers 35-14. Kickoff is scheduled for 10pm.
The Ospreys will play at Troy on Nov. 7 before hosting UL Monroe on Nov. 14. North Florida goes to New Mexico State Nov. 21 before ending the regular season at home against UMass on Nov. 28.
With 12 members intact, the Sun Belt Conference will be eligible by Division-1A standards to host a conference championship in 2017. North Florida has been placed in Division B along with Idaho, New Mexico State, Western Kentucky, UL Monroe, and UMass.

Re: UNF Ospreys Football: The Newest Addition to the Sunshine State
Edit: didn't save the file so I had to go back and remake it. Everything but the LSU was still available so I decided to replace them with a ranked Tennessee squad. Really wanted to do UCF but I plan on keeping my schedule rated C- or above (basing off a revenue standpoint). I'll edit the post.
I've also made everybody's CAPs.Last edited by beast10; 03-09-2016, 06:10 PM.Comment

3 UNF Players Named Preseason All-Sun Belt
Keenan Lever
Jul. 13, 2017
JACKSONVILLE, Fla — North Florida University football had three players named preseason All-Sun Belt Friday.
Two defensive players – senior strong safety Keenan Lever and sophomore middle linebacker Lukas Stephens – were first-team All-Sun Belt selections. Sophomore defensive end Ronnie Hurd topped the list as a second-team pick.
All three were postseason All-Independent selections a season ago in the Ospreys inaugural season.
The 6-foot-5, 242-pound Lukas Stephens was tabbed a freshman All-American last season by FWAA after starting every game at linebacker. The sophomore who finished 2016 with 90 tackles will make a switch to the middle linebacker slot following the graduation Jarrett Gaines who paced the team in tackles a season ago.
Lever is entering his second and final season with North Florida after playing two years at ASA College, a NJCAA affiliate. The Florida native ranked amongst the top of all NCAA safeties in tackles, finishing with 73. He also tied first on the Ospreys with three interceptions.
Hurd was second-team All-Independent last season despite playing his first year at the defensive end position. Hurd was second on the team with seven sacks while finishing the season with 32 tackles.
First-Team
Code:QB Brandon Silvers, Troy HB Larry Rose II, New Mexico State HB Johnston White, Arkansas State WR Dijon Paschal, Arkansas State WR Gabe Fusilier, UL Lafayette TE Mark Owens, Troy LT D’Aquin Withrow, UL Lafayette LG Frank Sutton, Jr., UL Monroe C Davis Moore, Georgia State RG Devin Randle, Arkansas State RT Chase Regian, UL Monroe RE Ja’Von Rolland-Jones, Arkansas State RE Taboris Lee, UL Lafayette DT Chuks Ota, Arkansas State DT Rodrick Stephens, UL Lafayette OLB TJ McCollum, Western Kentucky MLB Lukas Stephens, UNF OLB Khari Lain, Arkansas State CB Dila Rosemond, Texas State CB Chandon Sullivan, Georgia State FS Trenton McGhee, Idaho SS Keenan Lever, UNF K Parker Davidson, UL Monroe P Chris Qualls, UL Monroe KOR D'Marius Gillespie, Georgia State
Note: The whole solo tackles thing really ruins the All-Conference/American experience so I decided I'll debate on who makes it and who doesn't for my team. We originally had 7 all-conference players and 2 all-Americans (Lever & Stephens) while really none deserved it outside of Lever and Stephens (also evident by who's actually labeled an Impact Player). And we definitely aren't at the caliber of all-Americans so that's out of the question for now. My only exception is if an offensive player of mine is selected, that'll stand.
This is something I didn't do for our All-Independent selections last season, and despite only being in a conference with five teams, I think that list should've been filled with Notre Dame and BYU players instead.

Ospreys Tabbed Eighth in Sun Belt Preseason Poll
Antoine Bowers
Jul. 24, 2017
JACKSONVILLE, Fla (AP) — North Florida football continues its fast pace battle for higher ground as they embark on their first season in the Sun Belt Conference. The Ospreys were picked to finish fourth out of six teams in the Sun Belt's Division B in the league’s preseason media poll, which was announced on Thursday.
North Florida, which went 3-9 in their first season, received enough votes top fellow Sun Belt newcomer UMass and Idaho. Ahead of the trio schools were Western Kentucky, UL Monroe and projected divisional champion New Mexico State, which also garnered the most first-place votes in the conference.
In Division A, Arkansas State collected the most first-place votes for a decisive lead over Texas State who placed second in conference last year at 8-5 (7-2), only behind New Mexico State (11-2, 8-1). Troy was picked to finish third with UL Lafayette, South Alabama and Georgia State following.
The top ten projected teams in the conference were New Mexico State, Arkansas State, UL Monroe, Western Kentucky, Texas State, Troy, UL Lafayette, UNF, South Alabama and UMass. Idaho and Georgia State fill out the list.
Tennessee had three earn preseason honors, headlined by first-team selections, senior strong safety Keenan Lever and previously named freshman All-American linebacker Lukas Stephens. Defensive end Ronnie Hurd was named a second-team selection.

Re: UNF Ospreys Football: The Newest Addition to the Sunshine State
What do you guys think about the pace of this dynasty? I know i dumped a lot of those off season posts in a short duration of time and now i'm curious to know if it was too much. Any feedback welcomed. I know it gets hard to follow when so much is posted in such a short period of time but it also gives you guys lots of quick updates. Thoughts?Comment

Edit: Won't be doing the progression/regression, can't even get through one player without stalling. That being said, I'll be getting into the season very soon.Last edited by beast10; 03-11-2016, 07:06 PM.Comment
