BILLS struggle but ride Josh Allen's 3 Touchdowns to 45-31 Victory over VIKINGS!

      RECAP

Orchard Park, NY- A week after a 42-13 blowout to the New England Patriots in Buffalo, Head Coach Doug Marrone made a QB change.

"Every week we look at our Quarterbacks in practice and games and evaluate them. We go with who we feel can give us the best chance to win." Marrone stated.

Last week, Quarterback Jeff Tuel managed just 90 yards and an Interception in the humiliating loss to the rivals Patriots. The Bills faithful let their frustrations be known with boo's.

Today as the Minnesota Vikings(1-6) came to town, the Buffalo Bills(4-3) trotted out Josh Allen.

The rookie didn't disappoint in just his second career start.

Allen picked apart the horrid Vikings pass defense for 340 yards and 3 Touchdowns while never turning the ball over.

"Great performance today by him. He was in the zone." Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone stated.

The Vikings(1-6) collapsed on defense through the air but dominated the run game by stopping Bills RB CJ Spiller to just 74 yards off 23 carries.

"We stopped the run very well but the passing was just another story." Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated.

The Vikings(1-6) we're looking for their second win of the year a week after a 20-9 victory over the Lions.

The Bills(4-3) Defense struggled today especially in the run as Vikings RB Adrian Peterson racked up 142 yards off 13 carries.

He broke through for 2 Touchdowns off a 50 yarder and 58 yarder.

The Bills we're dead in the water.

"Bad performance for us today. Just one of those games where it falls apart." Bills Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz stated.

The Bills finished the day with 605 yards as Minnesota had 434.

With Quarterback Matt Cassel nursing a broken collarbone, the Vikings started Teddy Bridgewater.

The rookie was solid for 179 yards and a TD before taking a sack that resulted in Teddy breaking his collarbone in the process.

"Rough year for him with these injuries." Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer stated.

It's rumored, Minnesota will place Bridgewater on the I.R.

With their QB down, the Vikings sent out Christian Ponder late in the 4th.

Ponder led Minnesota on a 73 yard TD drive that brought the Vikings within 7.

"We felt good after that drive." Zimmer stated.

In the closing seconds with Ponder looking for a hailmary he was stripped of the ball and Bills D-Lineman Mario Williams took it into the endzone for the final nail in the coffin.

"I didn't hold on to the ball. My fault." Vikings Ponder stated.

          RECAP

Chicago, IL- Jay Cutler was all smiles as the Chicago Bears(6-1) rolled to their 5th straight win over the Miami Dolphins(2-4) 38-17.

"We're a really resilient team. We are playing really good football." Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler stated.

Cutler is making a case for himself for MVP as he leads the league in yards (2,132) and Touchdowns (19).

The Dolphins(2-4) struggled to move the ball as Knowshon Moreno was held to just 54 yards and 17 carries.

"We didn't play well." Dolphins Head Coach Joe Philbin stated.

SAINTS 6 Turnovers dooms them in 36-14 loss to LIONS in Detroit....

            RECAP

Detroit, MI- After a 3-0 start, the New Orleans Saints(3-3) we're early favorites to win the NFC South and make the playoffs again.

But now the Saints find themselves in some troubling waters.

"Losing 3 straight and a game like that where we turn the ball over 6 times is just a flat out embarrassment." Saints Head Coach Sean Peyton stated.

Over the 3 game losing streak Drew Brees has thrown 12 Interceptions.

"It's a rough time for me and us. I'm not taking care of the football at all." Brees stated.

The Saints had 6 turnovers today with Brees throwing 3 Interceptions and fumbling the ball.

The Saints(3-3) are a mess. The Lions(3-4) took advantage.

The Lions started Kellen Moore at Quarterback while Stafford and Orlovsky heal injuries.

Moore didn't do much. He didn't need to.

The Saints Defense was left out to dry with Brees turnovers. Reggie Bush looked like himself from USC rushing for 215 yards off 37 carries and 3 scores.

"We had too much pressure on us and couldn't handle the load." Saints Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan stated.

The Saints(3-3) will need to get back to the drawing board and Drew Brees will need to get out of the funk he's in if New Orleans wishes to play football in January.

                RECAP

SAN DIEGO- In a battle between the two teams fighting over the AFC West title was a slaughter. The San Diego Chargers(4-3) we're completely bullied by rivals Kansas City Chiefs(5-1).

"It was a big game for us this early and we didn't get the job done." Chargers Quarterback Phillip Rivers stated.

Rivers was helpless vs a powerful Chiefs Defense that made life miserable in Southern California.

Rivers put up 245 yards but had no TD's and a pick. His rating was 51.5.

The 14 points scored by the Chargers(4-3) we're by Danny Woodhead. He only had 14 yards.

Chargers Running Back Ryan Matthews racked up 111 yards and a fumble.

"We just stalled out. We never really got out of the starting gate." Chargers Head Coach Mike McCoy said.

The Chiefs(5-1) took a bump on the opening drive when Quarterback Alex Smith went down after taking a sack in the redzone.

It's announced he will miss 3 games with a torn shoulder.

Backup QB Chase Daniel came in and he showed no rust.

"He took control of the game from the start." Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid stated.

The Chiefs raced out to a 24-7 halftime lead and never looked back.

"We we're pushed around. No other way of saying it." Chargers Offensive Coordinator Frank Reich stated.

The Chiefs(5-1) racked up 570 yards total. The Chargers(4-3) finished with 506.

RAIDERS continue to slump, fall 43-10 to CARDINALS...

                  RECAP

OAKLAND- The Oakland Raiders(0-6) continue to hit rock bottom in 2014.

"We don't know what is up or what is down. We're helpless." Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen stated.

With Quarterbacks Matt Schaub(Elbow) and Derek Carr(Abdomen) nursing injuries for several more weeks, the Raiders(0-6) trotted out Matt McGloin.

                  It was a disaster.

McGloin was helpless against the Cardinals Ball Hawking defense. He finished the day with just 141 yards and a Touchdown.

He was pulled in the 4th Quarter after throwing his 2nd INT.

Nick Mullens finished the game mainly just handing off the ball.

"I'm not happy with the performances this year." Raiders Owner Mark Davis stated.

Carson Palmer finished the day with 2 TD's and 289 yards.

"Good win for us. Some things to work on absolutely." Cardinals Head Coach Bruce Arians stated.

GIANTS blow 28 point lead, COWBOYS rally for 45-42 victory in Jerry's World!

                    RECAP

Arlington, TX- In week 1, the New York Giants blew a 27 point lead to the Detroit Lions in what has become to be known as "The Miracle in Mo-Town."

After that epic collapse, the Giants went on a tear, winning 4 straight.

But last week the Giants(4-3) streak came to an end on Sunday Night Football in Philly.

Today, the G-Men wrote another chapter in the epic rivalry with the Cowboys(6-1).

And it was one for the ages.

On the first pass of the game, Tony Romo threw a pick to Giants Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

The Giants(4-3) punched it in from there.

Then New York capitalized on Romo's 3 interceptions in the first half to take a 28-7 lead inside Jerry's World.

"We we're getting ran over. We knew coming into the second half we needed to make some new plans." Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett stated.

                    And it worked wonders.

Romo was struggling to throw the ball. He finished the day with 218 yards, 1 TD and 3 picks.

Dallas then made plans to run the ball. It proved to be a drastic change.

Cowboys Running Back Demarco Murray racked up 176 yards and 4 Touchdowns off just 19 carries.

The Giants we're dead in the water unable to contain the Boyz running game.

"We couldn't stop the run and the tide turned real quick for us." Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin stated.

But the Giants wouldn't go down without a fight.

Eli Manning made it rain inside "Jerry's World" dropping bombs all over the Cowboys Defense.

A camera caught Jerry Jones about to be sick throughout the game.

Manning threw 364 yards and 4 touchdowns with 2 picks by Barry Church.

The game went 42-42 with the ball in Eli Manning's hands.

Every person was on the edge of their seats.

It was like a playoff game.

A pass to WR Victor Cruz and a brutal hit forced a fumble. Dallas recovered.

"We needed something like that to give us a chance." Garrett stated.

Tony Romo took the field and a game winning drive was in effect.

A chip shot by Dan Bailey sent the Cowboys(6-1) over the Giants(4-3).

49ERS struggle in Denver but squeak by BRONCOS 16-12 on Primetime...

                      RECAP

Denver, CO- When the NFL schedule was released this year, many people had this game circled on their calendar.

A primetime matchup with Peyton Manning vs the Jim Harbaugh 9ers.

However as the game arrived tonight it was a different feeling for the Denver Broncos(1-4-1).

Quarterback Peyton Manning still on the sidelines with his shoulder injury watched helplessly as the Broncos struggled to put up any points.

"It's hard when you're hurt and the team struggles without your help." Manning stated.

The Broncos(1-4-1) struggled to put up points as they we're forced to kick Field Goals.

"Can't just kick Field Goals and expect to win." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

The 49ers(4-3) struggled a bit themselves as they finished with just 275 yards total.

                      Denver had 372.

9ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick had 142 yards with a Touchdown.

It was the only Touchdown of the game.

"It was a scratch and claw game for us but we still got the job done." 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh stated.

Broncos Quarterback Brock Osweiller had 245 yards with no TD's and a pick.

"We had a rough time getting anything going." Broncos Head Coach John Fox stated.

The Broncos(1-4-1) continue to slump in 2014. The Season could drag on in the "Mile High City."

The Broncos(1-4-1) will have a short week as they play on Thursday Night when the Chargers come to town.

Peyton Manning will still be out for another week.

General Manager John Elway is still not closing the door on the "Peyton Manning Era" just yet.

"I think that was the defining moment for the game. After that play we never got started." Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin stated.

The #1 Antonio Brown would be double covered throughout the game.

"We had to take him out the best we can. He's a very dangerous Receiver." Texans Head Coach Bill O'Brien stated.

                            THE SCORE

Defending Champions Seattle Seahawks remain at #1 after last second FG loss to rival Rams. Still clearly the team to beat.

No change in the "Top 10."

Middle of the pack sees Browns, Cardinals, Rams, and Lions continue climb.

Denver continues to drop with loss to 9ers.

Steelers fall a bit after Primetime loss to Texans.

Raiders still not winning any games.

                                WEEK 8 GAMES TO WATCH

                                BILLS(4-3) VS JETS(4-2-1)

A battle in the east as Rex Ryan and the Jets will look to take another step closer to first place. The Bills despite playing musical QB's have a winning record and will look to keep proving people wrong.

                                BEARS(6-1) VS PATRIOTS(5-2)

In what could be the toughest test yet, the Chicago Bears are red hot and will head to Foxboro to knock off the Dynasty. The Patriots will look to keep pace in the East with a win. The Bears are really on a tear in 2014 as Marc Trestman has really done a masterful job this year. If Chicago can knock off "The Dynasty" then they will let people know that they are for real. But Brady and Belichick won't go down easy.

                                PACKERS(5-2) VS SAINTS(3-3)

Another chapter in the "Aaron Rodgers vs Drew Brees" story as the two will meet Sunday Night on Primetime in "The Big Easy." The Packers trail their hated rival Bears by one game so a win will push them for first. After a 3-0 start, the Saints have lost 3 in a row with Brees playing inconsistently and turning the ball over multiple times. A win is needed for the Saints to get some confidence in turning their season around but beating Aaron Rodgers is no easy task...
