Last year in a loss to the Tennessee Titans, Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck broke his collarbone and missed 8 games. Indy's Season was doomed shortly afterwards falling to a 4-12 Record in the AFC South. A new year upon us and both Teams are off to 2-0 starts. It's only Week 3 but the Winner will take firm control of the South heading into next week.

COLTS rally from 14-0 to knock off TITANS 38-34 in Nashville!

        RECAP

Nashville, TN- The first Game on Sunday of Week 3 was hands down a candidate for "Game of the Year."

And it didn't disappoint the NFL World.

Running Back Shonn Greene crossed the Goal line, QB Jake Locker found WR Dexter McCluster in the End Zone and the Tennessee Titans(2-1) held a 14-0 lead over their South Rivals, the Indianapolis Colts(3-0).

"It was tough falling down 14-0. We knew we needed to step up our game if we were gonna win. The guys battled and we deserved that win honestly. Tennessee is a really tough Team. They won the South last year." Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano stated.

Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck is making a strong case for himself for MVP and "Comeback Player of the Year."

Luck finished the day with 371 yards and 5 Touchdowns. He had a Rating of 138.6.

"We fell behind early. I certainly didn't help with that fumble early but you have to give them credit. They have a really good Defense and the things they do especially from last year they're gonna be a good Team again this year." Colts QB Andrew Luck stated.

Down 21-7 the Colts(3-0) Defense came alive forcing 2 straight fumbles as Luck found TY Hilton and Reggie Wayne for Touchdowns that sent the Game into Halftime with a 24-21 Titans lead.

The "Ageless" Reggie Wayne continues to make history. The 36 year old Veteran had now moved past Colts Legend Marvin Harrison on the ALL TIME Catches list with 1,104 catches for Third All Time.

Wayne is still behind possibly the Greatest Tight End ever Tony Gonzalez(1,325) and 49ers Legend Jerry Rice(1,549).

Wayne had 8 catches for 112 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

"No words. Just blessed man. It's an honor honestly." Wayne said afterwards.

"The things he does for this Football Team is amazing. He's hands down one of the best Players I've ever coached." Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano said.

Indianapolis's Defense became very opportunistic after struggling to get stops as the Titans(2-1) marched up and down gaining 508 yards and 23 First Downs.

The Colts(3-0) got 469 yards but failed to get stops as Tennessee racked up 34 Points.

"We knew we couldn't stop them from scoring so we needed to be opportunistic and that's what we did." Colts Defensive Coordinator Greg Manusky stated.

The Colts Defense forced 3 fumbles on the Titans and Indy put points up on the board as the score changed multiple times for lead changes.

Andrew Luck led Indy down for a Comeback and a 38-34 lead just moments after Jake Locker led Tennessee down for a 34-31 Titans lead.

"One of those Games where no score was safe. Indy just outplayed us." Titans Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt stated.

Titans Quarterback Jake Locker attempted a last Game Winning Drive with 41 seconds left but his last pass was picked off by Darius Butler.

Locker finished with 295 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a Pick with a 107.7 Rating.

Titans RB Shonn Greene had 134 yards with 2 Touchdowns.

STEELERS knock off BROWNS 38-20 at Heinz Field!

            RECAP

Pittsburgh, PA- Backup Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski has given the Pittsburgh Steelers(3-0) some hope.

"The things he's been doing filling in has been amazing. The guys really respond to him in the huddle and the locker room." Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin stated.

Last year the Steelers were a drama fest caused by Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. If the Steelers have problems again this year then they will have no problem winning games with Gradkowski.

In Roethlisberger's absence with a dislocated elbow, the Steelers(3-0) have victories over the San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, and today over the Cleveland Browns(2-1).

"Cleveland is a great Team and the things Mike Pettine has done and how far they went last year is something you have to take notice of. " Tomlin continued.

Gradkowski was on fire today throwing for 372 yards and 4 Touchdowns. He led the Steelers to 539 yards of Offense as the Steelers jumped out to a 10-0 lead.

Johnny Football and the Browns wouldn't go away quietly however as they rebounded in the 2nd Quarter.

Manziel had 190 yards and 2 Touchdowns as Cleveland racked up 347 yards of Offense.

It was 24-17 Steelers at Halftime.

"It's just that AFC North Football. Great rivalry between us and it's like a heavyweight fight. Tip your hat to Pittsburgh they're gonna be a tough Team this year." Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine said.

Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell rushed for 138 yards and a Touchdown. Browns RB Terrance West showed why he was Rookie Player of the year rushing for 99 yards off just 16 carries.

Manziel had 67 yards on the ground.

A lot of Receivers were held in check (Hall, 52 yards) (Cameron, 57 yards)
But Antonio Brown was unstoppable catching 10 passes for 179 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

"Great game by us. We rallied behind Bruce and we're excited for Ben to come back but we love playing with Bruce." A.B stated.

Manziel was sacked 3 times as neither Team had any turnovers. Franchise Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is set to return on Thursday Night Football after leaving the Opening Sunday's victory over the San Diego Chargers.

Pittsburgh now sits in 1st Place in the AFC North.

Ryan's Hailmary gives FALCONS first Win of year 38-34 over JAGUARS!

                      RECAP

Jacksonville, FL- Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan was all smiles as he hugged Head Coach Dan Quinn in the locker room at Everbank Field.

"What a feeling for us. Especially with how it ended. It's just unbelievable." Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn stated.

He picked up his first Career win as the Atlanta Falcons(1-2) beat the Jacksonville Jaguars(1-2) 38-34 off a hailmary pass from Matt Ryan to Julio Jones.

The Jaguars had a 16-10 lead at halftime with Jacksonville struggling in the Red Zone as Blake Bortles continued to struggle against Atlanta.

Jacksonville(1-2) kicked 3 Field Goals inside the 20 by Kicker Josh Scobee.

"We kicked Field Goals inside the Red Zone. I think those are what killed us." Jaguars Head Coach Gus Bradley said.

But Jacksonville was forced to resort to 3 points as Quarterback Blake Bortles struggled to get the ball in the End Zone. He finished with 340 yards and no Touchdowns.

"We stalled out there quite a bit." Bortles added. He was sacked 5 times and pressured quite a bit by the Falcons Defense.

WR Cecil Shorts III had 7 catches for 141 yards but never found the Endzone. The Jags got points off Running Back's Toby Gerhart and Storm Johnson.

Johnson finished with 109 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

"We had the win in the bag. We just let it slip away from us at the very end." Bradley continued. "We can't allow that to happen."

Jacksonville(1-2) scored with 20 seconds left on the clock and had the lead 34-31. Atlanta(1-2) then scored on a hailmary pass to Julio Jones in the back of the Endzone for the 38-34 victory.

Jones finished the day showing the NFL exactly why he's one of the best in the league, 217 yards and 3 Touchdowns. Conrad McDonald had 165 yards and 1 score.

"We believe in each other. We're excited for the new year and what Coach Quinn brings to the Team. We're all buying in and after a game like this one we're excited for this Season." Falcons Quarterback Matt Ryan said.

Ryan was lights out today throwing for 480 yards and 4 Touchdowns.
He was sacked 4 times as the Jags Defense gave him fits at times.

Falcons RB Devonta Freeman had just 41 yards with a score as Jacksonville stopped the run.

"Did good on that part but it was the Passing Game that killed us. We need to be much better on that." Jaguars Defensive Coordinator Bob Babich said.

Backup QB Mark Sanchez had just 99 yards and a Touchdown as the Eagles(1-2) top their NFC East Rival the Washington Redskins(1-2).

"Division Games are always the hardest. They know you better than anyone." Redskins Head Coach Jay Gruden stated.

Washington's Quarterback Robert Griffin III took a sack on just the second play of the game and dislocated his elbow.

But the Redskins dodged a bullet when they announced he'll return next week.

"We dodged a bullet with him. He's very lucky and we plan to roll with him after our BYE against New Orleans." Redskins Offensive Coordinator Sean McVay stated.

But Kirk Cousins is really holding his own and did so today against the Eagles Defense who showed up to play.

Cousins had 288 yards, 2 Touchdowns, and a pick. Washington struggled against Philly's Defense.

Tannehill lost for Season, DOLPHINS crush JETS off Moore's 5 Touchdowns 35-24...

                              RECAP

Miami, FL- The Miami Dolphins(1-2) will lose Quarterback Ryan Tannehill for the year as he suffered a broken Collarbone.

"He's done for the year. He broke his Collarbone and it's gonna need surgery." Dolphins Interim Head Coach Zac Taylor said.

Tannehill had just 35 yards before rushing 19 yards and taking a hit by Jets Cornerback Kyle Wilson that snapped his clavicle.

"It's unfortunate man. It wasn't anything personal just part of the game. No disrespect at all." Wilson said.

Miami(1-2) turned to backup QB Matt Moore and he didn't disappoint. Throwing for 227 yards and 5 Touchdowns as the Dolphins knocked off their East Rivals, the New York Jets(1-2).

New York came in limping as they have numerous injuries to key players and the Jets may be in for a long brutal Season.

"Injuries are no fun but its part of Football. All we can do is rally behind the guys we have moving forward." Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan said.

Backup Running Back Chris Ivory had 77 yards and a Touchdown as Quarterback John David Booty threw for 223 yards and 2 Touchdowns.

But "Gang Green" couldn't stop anything on Defense allowing 5 Moore Touchdowns and 130 yards from Dolphins RB Knowshon Moreno.

"It was a tough one for us today especially against a Division rival. We need to tighten up on allowing so many points and yards. Lots to work on this week before we head to Philadelphia next week." Jets Defensive Coordinator Dennis Thurman said.

With the 35-24 victory, this gives Zac Taylor his first Coaching win of his Career. He's filling in until Head Coach Mike McCarthy is done with his suspension.

MIAMI DOLPHINS: Place Quarterback Ryan Tannehill on Injured Reserve ending his Season.

                                9/27/15

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill will need surgery to repair his broken clavicle, the Miami Dolphins announced recently.

Tannehill went down in the Dolphins 35-24 victory over the New York Jets today when he took a hit rushing 19 yards.

"It was a rough hit. He got me pretty good. I felt pain in my shoulders and chest when I hit the ground. I knew I broke my Collarbone. It sucks going down and being done for the year." Tannehill stated.

To fill the QB spot, Miami has announced that Matt Moore will be the starter and the Dolphins have signed QB Kyle Sloter for a 1 year/3m Contract.

Sloter hasn't seen any NFL action but was with the Minnesota Vikings last year.
