The Canucks played the Blue Jackets yesterday, and there were some kind of big events. For example, the even though the Canucks only managed one point, it was a very, very hard hitting game. There were so many checks, tempers started flaring, and there was a fight (won by Vancouver.) Also, coach Vigneault made a statement after the game. "Mats, and the Sedins aren't doing their job. They are the leaders of this team, and they need to step it up more. That's why I'm putting the entire second line (Hunter, Ormand, King) to the first." There was also another event that caught everyone's eyes. There was a tussle between Columbus RW Quickel and Vancouver RW King, even though the game was clearly already over. Both of the players refused to give statements.

Possible rivalry brewing?

“Hello?” I answered the phone quietly.

“Hey, this is Gary, coach wanted me to tell you that you and the other two are being moved to the first line.”

“What!” I exclaimed loudly.

“What is it babe?” Casey asked while she paused the movie. I motioned her to hold on a second.

“Yea, coach doesn’t like how the Sedins and Sundin have been playing, so ya’ll are it! Ya'll start next game against Edmonton.”

“Wow, thanks. I gotta go I’m watching a movie.”

“Later dude.”

“Later G-Shan.”

“Well?” Casey asked.

“…I get to start from now on!!!”

“Oh that’s great! Come here,” she said while giving me a big, whopping kiss. “Now let’s finish watching Iron Man. And we can pretend like we’re in a movie theater.”

“Sounds good to me!”

GM Gillis makes bold statement
Mike Gillis confirmed rumors today, that he is looking to trade Mats Sundin. "He just isn't playing up to expectations, and he is wasting cap space. Plus, he is getting older, and his contract runs out this year. We can't be signing another one year, 10 million dollar contract. We are looking into a lot of trade offers." Gillis said.

We were all waiting in the locker room when Kyle finally came in.

“YEA!!!” the entire room erupted. He was smiling from ear to ear.

“Congrats on Kyle’s first time being first star!!” I yelled.

“Yea!!!” everyone continued to cheer. “First round is on Kyle!!!”

“Ye-whoa now, I don’t know about that,” he said.

“Oh come on, you’re the first star!”

“Oh, alright. Yea! Let’s go to the club!”

“YEA!!!” We went home to get ready, then took off with Gary in his limo.

“Yea, but seriously, congratulations Kyle.”

“Thanks man.”

“Hi, I’m Casey, I don’t think we’ve officially met yet,” my girlfriend said while sticking out her hand to shake his.

“Well, obviously I’m Kyle. Nice to meet you, I’ve seen you a few times back at the house in the mornings…”

“Oh, be quiet! It’s not what you think. We’re taking it slow, we haven’t done that yet.”

“Mhm,” Eric butted in.

“Oh seriously guys, grow up. Just cus we sleep in the same bed doesn’t mean anything’s going on. And Josh, you still haven’t invited me to one of your games. I really want to see you play.”

“Casey…do you wanna come to my next game against Boston?”

“Oh I have to travel all the way to Boston?!”

“No, no silly goose,” I said while Eric, Gary, and Kyle started snickering, “It’s here in Vancouver.”

“Oh, cus I don’t know if I could’ve done that,” she said, relieved.

“We have arrived,” said the limo driver. We all got out.

“Hey, guys, I got a text from Mats, he said-”

“Yea, I’m gonna need to see some I.D.” said a deep black voice. Uh-oh, it was the club bouncer. “Well?”

“Oh, umm, we were just leaving,” Eric said.

“Uhh, I don’t think so,” the bouncer said. “I need backup, we got a code 317.” Oh ****, we all mouthed to each other. When police officers arrived, we all started getting really scared.

They immediately put handcuffs on us and said, “You are under arrest for unauthorized entry as a minor. You have the right to retain and instruct counsel without delay. We will provide you with a toll-free telephone lawyer referral service, if you do not have your own lawyer. Anything you say can be used in court as evidence. Do you understand? Would you like to speak to a lawyer?” Wow, I thought mirandization was different from that. Oh, wait, we’re in Canada. The officers then put us into two different cruisers.

“Damn…what the hell…” Eric said to me.

“I’m so scared,” I said back. And then they drove us all downtown.
