    QPR Clinches Champions League Qualification

Vorm gives the fans a round of applause for their support this season

All season they have fought for this moment, and they have finally done it. The Queens Park Rangers have qualified for the Champions League. The club has not seen European competition in more than 25 years and have now realized that goal. The ownership, the management, and the players are all happy with their collective effort. The game itself was a dud. Sunderland and QPR ground out 90 tough minutes of football and ended up getting a draw, but the one point was enough to secure the spot for the home team. The new battle for them becomes placement in the table to avoid a play in before the group stage. Once again, congratulations to the Queens Park Rangers on their excellent season.

Norwich is No Match for the QPR Buzzsaw

Allen's 28th goal on the season is a beauty

M'Bia found Phillips out wide with a step on the defender. Phillips looked back inside and found nothing, but out the corner of his eye he saw Allen cutting into a small hole off the left side of the pitch. The through ball that followed found Allen in stride and the break was on as he used his superior speed for separation. Pritchard found himself stuck in no man's land as he decided whether to charge out or stay home. Allen did not give him the time to think and instead dropped his hips and gave the ball a love tap with his right foot effortlessly chip curling the ball into the bottom corner of the net, just inside the bottom right post for the beuaty of a goal. That goal in the second half brought Allen's total to 28 on the season, leaving him just 3 shy of tying the Premier League record. Could he break it with only one game remaining?

Allen Caps Off a Great QPR Season With 30 Goals

Allen runs to the QPR faithful in the stands to celebrate a great season

He could not get the record, but that doesn't matter. What QPR has seen and done on the season transcends any personal achievement. But the soon the be anointed Golden Boot winner did not disappoint, scoring the last 2 goals of the season for his team. He has been the lone striker up front for the majority of the season, and Allen has borne that burden well. The first goal would come late in the first half. Faurlin would skip the ball forward to a wide open M'Bia that found himself one on one with the keeper. Allen would streak to the other side, and M'Bia would sweat the ball across the face of the keeper for the easy finish. The rest of the match would see Liverpool pressing forward with everything to try to get the equalizer, but the back would be left exposed. Hoilett would exploit this on a clearance ball, booting the ball long and finding Allen all alone. The flag would stay down and Allen would bury the easy attempt in the corner with his preferred left foot before heading off into the corner to celebrate with the fans. QPR finishes the season strong with a win and Allen would finish just 1 goal shy of tying the record.

Re: Mr. Second Place: An Autobiographical Tale of Alvin Allen (Fifa 13)

“Will you zip me up?” Gabby giggled as she turned her back to me.
I smiled as I reflected at her choice of attire. It was a sleek, midnight blue, strapless number that was simple in construction, but hugged her slight frame in all the right places. I moved over to her and did as she asked before slightly kissing her neck.
“Now none of that, Mr. Allen,” she blushed as she pulled away. We’re already running behind!”
I laughed as I adjusted my bowtie that matched her dress. The tuxedo was freshly pressed and I was looking pretty good myself. “Ready to head down, or, up I should say?”
                “Let’s go!” she said excitedly.
We were in the Grand Cosmos Hotel in downtown London, Matvei’s newest expenditure. He was hosting a grand gala to congratulate QPR on their advancement to the Premier League while also using it as a grand gesture to show off his new toy. Not only were the players invited, but all sorts of London’s elite were there to enjoy the dinner and the new star of the London skyline. Gabby had agreed to fly out from the States and come with me as my date after making care arrangements for Hope. We seemed to be spending a lot more time together, and that spark that happened when we originally met had seemed to grow stronger over the past couple months. We talked almost every day on the phone, our chats becoming more personal and loving than they had been in a while. I dare say we had fallen in love all over again.
We took the elevator to the top floor. As the doors opened, we could see that the windows in the top ballroom were from the floor to the ceiling all the way around, making it seem as if the entire party was happening in midair.
“Oh wow, I knew I should’ve worn my glasses.” Gabby laughed as she squinted at the view.
“Hey, you’re the one who told me you ‘wanted to look cute and not wear the oversized things…’” I cut off as she playfully elbowed me in the gut.
“Oh stop it, Alvin, let’s go find our table.”
We sat at our table with a few of my QPR teammates and their significant others. Awards were given out for team leaders. I got a small trophy for team’s most valuable player, and Taisia joked that I should’ve gotten the actual award. That brought on a rousing round of applause from those in attendance. I just laughed and motioned them to stop, but it was all in good taste and in good fun. As the dinner ended and people, including Gabby and myself, were making plans for which after party we would attend, Taisia wandered over to our table.
“Congratulations on your award, Alvin,” she smiled as she hugged me. “I meant every word of my speech. You are the true champion on the year.”
Taisia was definitely in prime fashion on the night. She wore a blue dressherself, but this one was gaudy, with gemstones on the low cut bodice that highlighted her athletic frame.
Gabrielle stared daggers into her as I sort of sheepishly shrugged Taisia off me.
“Ah, eh, um, thanks, Taisia,” I mumbled.
                “Ahem,” Gabby coughed.
“Oh, yeah, Taisia, this is Gabby, my fiancee,” I stammered.
                “Your what?” Gabby said shocked.
“I mean well, I was just uh…” I continued to stumble over my words. This moment was not going very well.
“Oh, well congratulations to you both,” Taisia said, sounding oddly disappointed. “Alvin, can I steal you away for a moment?”
“Yeah if it’s okay with Gabby,” I said turning to her. She still appeared flushed at me calling her my fiancée, so all she could manage was a hand motion as she turned to go find the nearest wait staff with wine.
I followed Taisia to a quiet corner looking out across the beautiful London night sky.
“Alvin, I think I’ve got us a way in with my father,” she said coolly.
                “How?” I asked.
“Don’t worry about that. He will be in touch later tonight with the details,” she said before suddenly pausing.
“Alvin, be careful.” She leaned in a kissed my cheek gently before returning back to the party.
Gabby soon charged over to me in the corner looking at me suspiciously.
“So, what was that about?” she grumbled.
So here it was. I was getting back in. Last time this happened, we lived to fast and people died. Suddenly the room just became a bit too much for me. “Let’s go outside. I need some air.”
Gabby looked concerned, “What is it?”
                “Let’s just go,” I said.
We took the elevator down to the ground level and went for a stroll on the London streets, walking in silence as Gabby cuddled close to my arm.
                “So, fiancée?” she teased suddenly.
“Well, yeah,” I stuttered. “I mean, well, you’re clearly more than a girlfriend and you’re not quite my wife…”
“So you want to marry me now?” she laughed.
I paused for a while and then looked into her beautiful brown eyes. The smiled on her face from the joking quickly turned to shock as I got down on one knee.
                “Well Gabby, I…”
Suddenly someone grabbed me from behind. Gabby let out an ear piercing scream. I instinctively elbowed the assailant in the gut and pushed him to the ground, before another person joined the fray and tackled me back to the ground. Both held me down while a van screeched the brakes up onto the curb as onlookers began to race towards us. Somehow Gabby had a knife in her hand and went towards one of the men, but someone punched her in the jaw before she could get to me. I roared in anger and knocked one of the men down before he could drag me into the van, but then I felt a pinprick in my neck before turning to see that one of the men had stuck me with some sort of needle. The world swam around me as I felt myself being lifted off the ground and stuffed into the van as people began to yell for help. Then everything was black.
I awoke in an office chair. I wiped the drool from my face and tried to get up, but immediately sat back down as the effects of whatever was in my system made quick work of my equilibrium. I managed to look up at the stern visage of Matvei Kosaryov staring down at me, frowning. I managed to gather we were in an office of some type, complete with a massive desk full of charts and tables. I turned my head to see bodyguards, one of which had a bandage wrapped around his midsection. I smiled to myself. So Gabby, must have gotten one of them with that knife after all. Suddenly I felt horrified.
                “Gabby…” I mumbled weakly.
“Who?” Matvei’s voice boomed in our small space.
“His girlfriend, daddy,” a familiar voice said behind him. Lounging across the room in another chair was Taisia, freshly changed in her business attire.
“Ah, yes, the girl. She is quite alright, safe and sound in your apartment with someone making sure she is quite safe. I am sorry about having treated you roughly, but we had to make your abduction seem sloppy for press reasons.”
I groaned angrily. Matvei shrugged and looked at his daughter questioningly.
“Taisia says that you are indeed willing to help us,” Matvei stated. It was apparently not a question.
“I had intended to not involve you in the beginning, but apparently my hand has been forced. I will continue to watch Gabrielle as a measure of our assured cooperation with one another.”
Matvei began to pace the space in front of me.
“What do you want?” I managed to get out.
Matvei paused and looked at me with those hard grey eyes. I glanced at Taisia and she seemed to have genuinely nervous look on her face.
“We have come upon a problem with the evolution of A-81,” he continued. “The newly synthesized compound is not giving us the direct results expected. We have brought you to our facility for help.”
“And where is ‘here’?” I managed as I sat up in the chair, finally able to move a bit.
“My associates and I have brought you to my concealed laboratory in Russia,” Matvei said coldly.
“Russia?” I yelled. “Why on earth am I in Russia?”
Once again Matvei turned to Taisia quizzically. Taisia glared at me, expecting me to play along obviously, but at what?
“Alvin, you are here to be our final experiment. We are going to inject you with our new version of Adrenaline-81.”

Now that I finished this season, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you once again for the support on this dynasty. I thought about letting it die, but I kept seeing the views continue to go up even as it slid down the posting board. I appreciate the viewership and the comments.

I enjoy lots of things on operation sports, but more than anything I love reading the various dynasties. I rarely post comments on other's works, but let me take the time to say I understand the time and hard work that goes into making them day in and day out so great job to those who do it often. I know there are some like me, that rarely comment, but sit back and read this anyway. I want to say thanks to you guys as well for continuing to read.

As always, thank you, thank you, thank you for putting up with my massive delays. Enjoy the last update, and I'll be working on the next season soon.

Thanks for the support. You did the youtube videos for a good long while. I can't imagine how long that must take. It takes me a good while to get everything planned out, written down, and posted. Although it down seem more dynamic to have videos. If I wasn't so technologically challenged maybe I could do that for this series. Or maybe its better to just be old school and just write. Or maybe we are all old fashioned because we are all using a message board to type on. Well...I don't know where I was going with this posting, but thanks for the read!

Yeah I did videos. Took about say 4 hours total. About 2 hours of recording the games and another 2 hours to edit it down to a 10-12 minute video. It was fun really, I just got to a point with fifa that I was getting in a bad mood from playing too much and gave it up for over a month. I'll get back to making videos and such again at some point. I may do a mlb the show on YouTube at some point keep up the good work and I think your story is much much better written than it could ever be in video form.

Re: Mr. Second Place: An Autobiographical Tale of Alvin Allen (Fifa 13)

And so my off season began. I was put through an extensive program in Matvei’s facility. A lot of that time period still remains a blur to me, but I remember a lot of scientists and a lot of tests, both mental and physical. Most of all I remember the injections. No longer was I shot up with one needle. I would need to lie down and they would lower this contraption onto me. Needles would the simultaneously puncture all over my body, from the base of my neck, down to my spine, and even in my calves. The pain was excruciating. One week they would allow me to be well rested. Other weeks I was sleep deprived. All the while I was their guinea pig to be probed and prodded. Taisia tried to comfort me when she could, but I felt like a zombie. I think I remember her and Matvei arguing during one of my injection cycles, but I couldn’t be sure. I just remember the pain, the tests, and the mindless states of nothingness. And then, one day, it was over.
I woke up one morning and I found myself in my bed in my condo in London. I sat up quickly to find Taisia sitting in a chair, watching me curiously.
“Alvin, I…” she paused. “I’m sorry.”
“What’s going on? What are you doing here?” I yawned drowsily.
“The effects of what my father is doing,” she said, “I had no idea what he was planning.”
Suddenly, I snapped back into reality, realizing everything that was amiss.
                            “Gabby and Hope?” I questioned.
“They are safe in the United States,” Taisia stated abruptly. “I swapped out my father’s watch dogs for my own, without his knowledge. They will be safe.”
“Taisia, what happened?” I said frustratingly. “The plan was to bring your father down, not to help him at my own expense. I mean, my emotions are all over the place. I’m having trouble even getting angry.”
It was true. Everything felt a bit more hollow inside me. It was hard to explain. The best I could compare it to was that the world seemed as if I was watching it through a television screen. It was real, but my viewpoint felt a bit more withdrawn from the rest of reality, almost like looking at the three dimensional world from a two dimensional lens.
“I know, Alvin. I’m truly sorry,” Taisia said, hanging her head. “My father calls it Tabula Rasa. He has evolved the program into something more sinister than I thought. He has allowed you to come back to London in time for the season as his trial to see how it works in real time. He needs to see how you react to external stimuli that the laboratory could not replicate.”
“You sound a little intrigued by that possibility,” I noted as I got up out of bed. “You are interested in the scientific aspects yourself?”
Taisia was blushing and trying to respond. “Um, Alvin…”
I looked down to see that I was completely naked. Somewhere deep in my consciousness I felt the embarrassment, but just could not come to the forefront of my mind.
“So it seems that I am,” I responded, “I’ll get dressed.” I walked over the closet to grab some clothes.
Taisia stuttered, “Well, uh, yes, well to continue, I know we needed some additional help, so I reached out to some old friends…”
The door boomed opened as if on cue. I turned to the door to see a smiling familiar face.
“Whoa, nipote! I didn’t know it was that kind of party! I thought Tabula Rasa made you emotionless, not take off your pants,” Leo laughed. “I could’ve used that back in the 70’s…”
“Leo,” Taisia sighed, “Get it together. This is serious.”

Re: Mr. Second Place: An Autobiographical Tale of Alvin Allen (Fifa 13)

I finished getting dressed and met them in my kitchen and in doing so interrupted their conversation.
“…epitome of athletic competition to evaluated the cognitive ability to adjust to the signal…” Leo was saying to Taisia.
                              “What was that?” I said.
“Nothing nipote. Take this, please. You sound like Frankenstein.” He pushed a pill across the table.
                              “What is it?” I asked.
“It is a counter agent to A-81 that we developed,” Leo said. “Although I have no idea what it will do to TR. Who wants to order Chinese? I’m starving.”
                              “TR?” I questioned.
“Tabula Rasa,” Taisia answered before wheeling on Leo. “I thought you said this would cure him?”
                              “I don’t know. But it’s worth a shot.”
I took the pill. After about twenty minutes or so I began to feel a bit of emotion, and then it hit me all at once. It was like a sensory overload. I felt manic and depressed at the same time. I felt anxious and bold. My brain was on fire. I began to hyper ventilate.
“What’s wrong with him!” Taisia yelled.
Leo just watched and simply stated, “Well, most people who took the antidote had this reaction. Mental stimuli make the body seem like it is in extreme stress. Most die soon after of either suffocation or a heart attack.”
                              “What?!” Taisia screamed at him.
“But, if he pulls through the first time, most of our subjects were able to adapt to the sudden onset on emotional stress over the course of treatment. So in layman’s terms, if he doesn’t die now, then he’ll probably be okay to keep taking in the future.”

                              ***

I pulled myself off the floor about an hour later, gulping down the cups of water that Taisia had given me.
“Thank you,” I said hoarsely. I noticed that she had been crying. I went to wipe her tears away with my hand and she jerked away.
“You can’t die yet,” she said softly. “Now,” she said more composed as she put back on her business façade, “my father will be expecting to give Alvin monthly doses of TR. We will need the counter agent soon after these events.”
“So I’m confused,” I said getting off the floor and joining them at the table. “What is the purpose of this?”
“We are going to sabotage them,” Taisia said. “With the counter agent, their tests will be inconclusive. Hopefully, with the corrupt data, they will have to scrap the project entirely.”
“And this won’t affect my play on the field, for good or for ill, correct?” I asked.
“No you won’t be a cheater,” Taisia continued. “Just continue to play as normal. Your body will tell the story when they examine you next time.”
Leo was strangely quiet, oddly looking at me. Suddenly he got up. “Ok, you can expect my counter agent once a month. Just keep in mind my part of the bargain.”
“What’s that Leo?” I said suspiciously.
“You’ll know when the time comes,” he said with his back turned. “See ya later kids.” And with that he opened the door and left.
“What was that about?” I said as I turned to Taisia.
“Let me worry about Leo,” she answered vaguely. “Just keep doing what you are doing on the field. I’ll see you soon.” She leaned in and kissed me on the lips quickly before I could react. I blushed furiously.
“There you are. That’s the Alvin I know,” she smiled. And with that she left as well.
I was alone in my place. I searched for my phone to call and check on Gabby, but before I could dial, it rang. I picked up assuming it was her.”
                              “Hello!” I said enthusiastically.
“Wow, wasn’t expecting that type of excitement from you, bro. Welcome back to the world of the living.” It was Alton.
“A.T., I was wondering where you were. I was expecting you to be with Leo.”
“Leo was there?” he said concernedly. “This is getting bigger than I thought. Alvin, I don’t work for Leo.”
                              “What?” I said surprised.
“Listen, don’t worry about that,” he continued, “I know we’ve had our differences, but you know I’ve always got your back. We’re family Alvin. When the time comes, I need you to trust me.”
And with that he hung up. I sat back on my bed, contemplating everything that had happened to me. Once again I was at the center of being used by everybody and everything. Who could I really rely on? I started to get really upset, and then smiled. None of that mattered anymore. I had someone now. And with that, I called Gabby.

Alvin Allen Returns from Long Hiatus to Train with QPR
                                by David Sevilleton

                                Rumors abound about Allen's disappearance

Golden boot winner and American star striker Alvin Allen has recently rejoined his team in training for the start of the 2017-2018 Premier League season. His sudden reappearance has caused a stir among football pundits around the country. Allen went on a journey to Africa to find the ultimate meaning of life and his place in the universe, according to the QPR staff. He spent this entire time without any access to communication devices of any sort, and stayed out of the public eye while concentrating on anything and everything but football. The QPR staff has remained mum on the subject, but that is not the case with United States manager Klinsmann.
"I am very disappointed that Alvin has decided to take time away from football, especially in a World Cup year." he said recently in an ESPNFC interview. "He needs to be at top form, focusing on football and his teammates rather than himself." The American manager may have a point. How will Alvin's absence be felt within QPR's side? Reports say that QPR could be considering bringing in another striker to press Alvin for playing time. And will this affect the US's roster? No one think's Alvin's spot is in jeopardy of a World Cup spot, but Klinsman has made bold lineup choices in the past. The new Premier League season is set to begin soon, and many are wondering if we will see another great performance from the greatest American striker we have seen touch these shores?
