I do believe this is the case.

Unfortunately, I believe that this will happen. I don't get how they can be so biased to a team like that.

I think that eventually, more problems are going to arise in the Texas conf...I mean the Big "12" and OU and Okie State are going to want out of there much like Texas A&M did. I think that someday, we will see OU & Okie State in the B1G along with two east coast schools like BC and Uconn.

The BigXII is not in the best position, but they are not hurtin. As long as Texas throws a bone to the Okie and northern schools, they will be just fine. The only BigXII school that I see moving to the Big Ten at any time is Texas.

Big East may finally have its divisions set up, the Red and Blue. They plan on adding a 14th team.

The Big East may be interested in BYU, but BYU may not be interested again. BYU wants to maintain their home TV rights because ESPN is giving them 8 million a year.

It will all depend on what happens with the new tv deal.

Article says the 14th team will play Memphis every year. It be weird to see a team no where near Tenn play them. That part alone makes it sound like they are finally considering ECU which makes so much more sense.

idk bout you guys but I never liked the conference re-alignment it doesn't make since geographically at all Colorado in the Pac-12 or some of the other moves being made it turned into a "business" and took away from the tradition of the game some rivals that will never happen again such as Texas a&m and Texas it just takes away from me personally

Colorado makes perfect sense in the PAC. Geographically, they might be closer to Ames, Iowa than Seattle, but culturally and academically, Colorado couldn't fit in better.

Southern Cal is no longer a methodist school. BYU's Sunday rule is irrelevant. Football is on Saturday, and there is maybe one men's basketball game on Sunday each week? Not a big deal. Playing Thursday-Saturday baseball isn't a big deal either, it happens several times during the season. The reason BYU isn't in is because they're not a research institution. IF they were, then move to Cal's serious opposition to a religious institution. This is irrelevant though, because they aren't a research institution. Boise State is a junior college, academically speaking. Moving to the business side, they play in a dinky 30K stadium that they can barely fill up in a small town in a small state that offers nothing to a TV contract. Too many people in this topic apparently think that conference alignment works like it does in the NCAA series. It's not about football success. That helps in some instances, but regardless of whether Colorado is miserable in football for the next 8 years, they are a PERFECT cultural and academic fit, and along with Utah, they give the conference a CCG, which is part of why each school now makes 20.6M per year from television contracts, which is more than twice what we had before. Their additions couldn't be working out better.

Of all the teams to pick why pick the service academys? I figure some of the other CUSA teams they didn't pick would be better more competitive options I.E. Southern Miss, ECU or Tulsa. Hell even some MACtion teams would be better options it seems. Of course I'm not privy to the other reasons why though.

ECU makes perfect sense, Southern Miss would fit but it's a extremely small market, although ECU isn't much bigger, idk about Tulsa they really need to slip into the Big 12 they already rival OK St sometime down the road they could get to that point. Ohio would be a good choice.
