Anyone spotted any new trick plays yet? Best I've found so far is I Form Normal -> PA End Around in the Longhorns' playbook (and kudos to the NCAA dev team for listening and putting end arounds back in the game).

Also: I Form Twins -> FB Fake HB Toss (in Texas's playbook) is glitched again; half the time, the QB botches the pitch and throws the ball 10 yards behind the HB for a fumble.

        Uhhh, not quite.

This is a demo, and because demos are submitted to Xbox Live for certification about a month before they actually appear online, that means we're probably playing a build of NCAA 11 from early or mid-May.

The game you buy on launch day will be more polished than the demo.

Not completely. The final game ships more refined usually.

Even at that and how harsh some of the folks around here can be I must say that this far and away the most "overall positive" feedback and environment for one of these that I've seen for quite some time.

I'm encouraged. I'm looking forward to finally taking the demo for a spin on the PS3 when it finally shows up.

Playing FSU as UF and returned a pick for a TD, and while it was a little too quiet and should be played a little louder with more people saying it I heard UF fans chanting "Over-rated"
Pretty sick but it needs to be better, more people, and louder chanting.

Anyone else had any issues with your QB (or backup) returning punts, kicks, and kicking extra points? Seems like it's a random occurance.

I understand you gotta limit scrambling QBs but you cant completely ruin a potentially great run just because a QB is running. If you dont want scrambling QBs then either lower the speed/agility/acceleration of them or increase the awareness of defenders to react to a scrambling QB.
Do you have auto sprint on or off? Just curious if that might make a difference.

If fumbles and dropped passes were decreased, then I would have zero complaints so far. But when Pryor rips off a 60 yard scramble on me, but fumbles and then I fumble the next play, something is wrong. And when I see 4+ dropped catches a game, something is wrong.

In the finished game? Probably. In the demo, with two-minute quarters? Errr ... no.

I'm new? Did you look at the join date? Just because you see 70 posts doesn't mean someone is new. I've been here for the better part of 3 years, pal...which appears to be much longer than you.

In fact, over the past 3 years I've seen a ton of guys like you who go all manic over any glitch in the game. Suddenly, the game is broken and EA has grabbed you by the sack again. Honestly, guys who take this approach remind me of the middle school girls I coach in track. Any little hiccup and the world is suddenly ending. Understand what it is you're dealing with and the nature of how a demo works. Its like free a sample of beer: who cares if its not ice-cold yet....its still beer!

The dropped passes ive encountered were all pretty legit. DB hits receiver hard etc... Really haven't seen many @ all. Weird.

I hate to sound like a broken record but you can eliminate dropped passes with the game play slider once it releases....

I'm also pretty sure the fumbles are tied into RBA slider or the Tackle slider or a combination of both.

I hate to defend the game especially a demo but those are things they can be fixed by the USER himself if he doesn't like seeing fumbles or passes that are dropped.

This is only a demo but i think the game itself from what I've seen and knowing what can be tweaked is going to be AMAZING this year

I'm only concerned with running game on NCAA and this tells me there's still some tweaking to do with the Real Assignment AI. Hopefully this is because it's an old build, but I doubt it.
Linemen dont make every block in an actual football game. If your linemen block defenders all day then the game will be very unfair.

I still don't see it. Looks the same as NCAA 10 to me. I don't see the stripes on the ball spinning when it's in the air.

NCAA 06 had the best ball trajectory/spirals. You could really the see the ball arc and dip into the receivers hands, and you could sure as hell see the stripes spinning.
