Picked up the game for Christmas and started a dynasty with Miami. It didn't start out as well as real though and we lost our game with Florida. I am playing on all american and man, I'm bad at defense. I beat Old Dominion 56-24 after giving up 24 first half points and I barely squeaked by USF 34-33. I'm also having trouble with the new recruiting. My first class might be a pretty weak one.

Just finished creating the "Rugby offense." I'll upload it on SimSports later today. Here's the gist:

            28 formations, 127 plays

            13 Flexbone
            9 Shotgun
            5 Wingbone
            1 Split Backs

Staples of the offense: toss, screen, sweep

            No huddle

I had lots of guys with high interest in going there and my strategy for my recruiting is offer everyone scholarship week 1 and split points evenly. That gets them interested in visit early and I schedule visits for the earliest week with a game. I don't know it just works. And I'm playing on AA and I've thought about going to Heisman but I'm going to get settled somewhere before I change it.

2015 Season with Rutgers, 2013 season I simmed and only did recruiting because I wasn't interested in playing in the AAC. Finished 9-4. Updated conference changes for 2014 and moved to the big ten and finished 9-4 again losing in thrilling fashion to Alabama in the Outback Bowl. Now I started against #12 Miami in M&T Bank Stadium and won 23-19. I'm wondering for the benefit of my dynasty how to change the time of home games. It seems if my crowd gets more hyped if it is a night game. I need that for games such as OSU and UM.

Re: How is your dynasty going

So I switched my playbook to the Flex-Sweep because Nebraska has some very athletic WR's that would otherwise be unused. Week 1 was home vs. Oklahoma(SEC) and beat them 60-50. My defense allowed 558 pass yards. Week 2 I scheduled an away game at Hawaii. Haven't played it yet but I'm very surprised to see there is a news story talking about how it will be a bittersweet trip for me.

anyone know how to switch the time of a game in dynasty? I need the home crowd at night. Also anyway to make the crowd dress a certain way such as when Penn State has white outs?

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just played the Hawaii game and it was embarrassing. I beat them 91-30 had 1000 total yards and 700 yards rushing. They brought in Texas Tech's OC to replace me during the offseason and his air raid offense only threw for 447 yards against my horrid pass defense despite being down all game. Oklahoma had thrown for 558 even though they led for most of the game. Next week I have a bye week and I've chosen to switch back to my WingOption. The Flex-Sweep is great but the whole reason I was using it is because Nebraska has a bad FB. But I just found out I could but my back-up HB in, who is a beast running the ball. Week after this I start conference play vs. #18 South Carolina.

Re: How is your dynasty going

YEAR 8 of my offline dynasty sees #1 Auburn (11-1) in their second consecutive SEC championship game against #3 Kentucky (10-2).

The winner of the SEC title game will face #2 Missouri (10-2), who will be in the BCS championship matchup despite not making it to their conference title game.

The Tigers secured their spot in the game with a 30-20 victory in Tuscaloosa over the Crimson Tide - a loss which cost Bama bowl eligibility (5-7) and perhaps Nick Saban his job as he is on the "hot seat".

The Tigers have won their last four games despite losing starting senior QB Josh Patrick (99) to a torn groin. However, senior QB Curtis Smith (99) has filled in more than admirably.

So after I switched back to the WingOption I beat South Carolina 66-59. They refused to let me run the ball putting 8 in the box almost everytime. So I threw for 400 yards in that game and was still able to run for 387 on 54 carries. The next week I had another bye and then I played Mississippi State and beat them 77-45. In that game I ran for 533 yards. My pass defense gave up 667 and 675 in both those games. Looks like my Heisman candidates worst enemy is his defense. Anyways #1 Nebraska plays at #8 Georgia Tech this week. Hopefully they won't start passing the ball because I feel like my D can stop the run. At this point in recruiting I have 6 commits, a 2* JUCO WR(65 ovr.) a 2* JUCO QB who is 76 ovr., a 4* TE who is 78 ovr., a 2* JUCO HB(65 ovr.) 3* T(69) and a 3* OLB(62).

Seems like your playing on too long of qtrs. putting up those types of numbers. If you're a sim player that is.

Well it all depends on how much time I have on my hands, probably a week for a season. Well there isn't really a "benefit" , but if you like to play that way then go for it I guess
