Re: How is your dynasty going

After getting blasted by the Crimson Tide last week, the Longhorns looked for a huge bounce back game over the Roadrunners of UTSA. The first half was anything but as they got quite the scare as they trailed for most of the first half 14-7 as UTSA ran all over Texas (242 rushing yards on the game) and Ewers could not connect as he was under pressure early and often.

After halftime, the Longhorn defense decided to bring the heat consistently and was able to shut down the running game with some run blitz schemes, forcing UTSA's backup QB Eddie Lee Marburger to attempt to beat Texas with his arm which was not going to happen.

Quinn Ewers was able to have himself a clean game with 248 yards, 3 TDs and zero turnovers as he hit Xavier Worthy, Jordan Whittington and Brennan Thompson for scores while Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson both scored on the ground.

The defense was able to rack up five sacks, all in the 2nd half, including a pick-six by senior corner D'Shawn Jamison to really break this game open.

Re: How is your dynasty going

After falling behind 21-7 going into the half, the Texas Longhorn defense clamped down on the Wildcats of Kansas State and pitched a shut out. Deuce Vaughn and Adrian Martinez were killing the Longhorns on the ground the entire first half. After deciding to bring run blitz after run blitz, the Wildcat offense continuously stalled out as Martinez was never a threat to shred the defense with his arm.

After throwing two interceptions in the first half, Quinn Ewers really bounced back and was surgical over the final two quarters of play. After hitting Jordan Whittington for a TD in the first half, his other three top pass catchers - Xavier Worthy, Ja'Tavian Sanders and Brennan Thompson - all found the end zone in the 2nd half. While the ground game was stifled early, Texas kept pounding the rock and saw Bijan Robinson topping the 100-yard plateau as he and Roschon Johnson ate up most of the 4th quarter clock on the ground.

Interesting note: true freshman WR Brennan Thompson has now assumed the impact player role from stud sophomore WR Xavier Worthy. Both of them have insane speed and I think there's a real chance that both of them become impact players over Bijan Robinson.

Well the win streak is over at 138 games. We lost in the championship game to Michigan State. This was by far the most difficult game ive played. Their offense tore us up. Our number 1 run defense they gave up 50 yards a game gave up 100. Our pass defense got torched for over 300 yards. Offensively our number 1 ranked offense got stomped. My QB threw 5 picks (more than the whole rest of the year)....we had 6 turnovers to there 2....some how only lost by 10. Their QB was the best passing QB I have seen in video game history. Ideally I think it was typical EA scripting because NEVER have i ever seen a CPU this "OP" however.....the streak is over and the dynasty is still......ridiculous. On to year 28

Re: How is your dynasty going

Gotta start playing again now that the season is about to come to an end. My discussion board input will come to an end as this is the only sport I keep up with. Thinking about doing something new with NCAA 13. So, the thought came to me today. I am going to create a conference with the worst teams in the game and place them in C-USA. Set the other conferences up as close to default. Can't get but so close because of setting up C-USA the way I did. I also changed some around to make geography a factor.

Going to set up C-USA this way:
EAST: Memphis, Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, Akron, UMass, Eastern Michigan
WEST: Rice, UAB, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Texas State, UTSA

A random generator picked my team: Texas State

5 minute quarters, all sliders at 50 because I haven't played in a very long time, recruit like crazy to build this team up, and anything else I can think of.

                    QUESTION!!

In my dynasty I have a player that is out for the season. Is there any way to get him back in the game. I tried taking injuries off and that didn't work. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

If you're talking about '14, then you could probably do it with the editor, but there is no in-game way to do it.

                        In the 2019 season.

I've moved from the sunny beaches of California, Cal-Santa Barbara, to the snowy Fairbanks, Alaska to take over the Nanooks.

I made quite a bit of progress with UCSB but couldn't touch the top schools like UCLA and USC.

In the first game of the season, Coach Gurley's Bobcats defeated FCS some team 38-10. FCS moved down the field on their first possession and kicked a FG. The Bobcats held them scoreless until a dumb pass play near the end of the game resulted in a huge pick six. Bobcats RB, Appomattox Blake, ran the ball for 215 yards.

Completely forgot that the Big XII with just ten teams does not have a championship game. After a comeback win over Baylor to end my regular season with Texas, we finish the season 10-2, 8-1 in conference and take home the conference title thanks to head-to-head tie breaker over now #4 Oklahoma.

So Oklahoma, who didn’t even win their conference, sneaks into the college football playoff with Alabama, Ohio State and USC. Georgia finished at #5 and will play the #9 Longhorns in the Sugar Bowl.

While it is great to add some hardware in my first season at the helm, I was really looking forward to playing the Sooners again after blowing them out in the Red River Shootout earlier in the season.

Weird glitch: Oklahoma only played 11 games. I should have removed them from the CFP but I’ll let them go and get blasted by Alabama lol.

As I posted above, my Longhorns are in the Sugar Bowl against #5 Georgia. Serious question for realism sake: would junior RB Bijan Robinson sit out this game to prep for the draft or play?

Huge win for this program as we were able to take down #5 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl! With Bijan Robinson opting out and Jahleel Billingsley being dismissed from the team, Texas leaned on Roschon Johnson and Keilan Robinson to eat up clock and keep Georgia’s offense off the field.

Roschon nearly topped the 100-yard plateau but Keilan did the scoring damage with two rushing TDs in the game. Even freshman RB Jonathan Brooks got two carries on the final drive to ice the game as the two other backs were gassed and out of the game.

The defense was lights out and a one-handed diving interception by Diamonte Tucker-Dorsey on the left sideline gave the Longhorns the extra possession they needed to beat the Bulldogs!
