Re: offline CFM users only, post your sack numbers

Sounds like the only option is to edit the qb's pressure trait to paranoid or trigger happy and throw ball away: yes. It definitely helps but, obviously the incoming rookies can't be edited. Also, the sack numbers are normal when you play 5-7 minute quarters. Who mostly plays those quarter times? Tournament? Hmmm.............................................. .also, when u do a quick sim in game, u must set the quarter length to 5-7 minutes to get realistic stat results. Interesting. The sim guys who play upwards of 13-15 minute quarters get screwed again. U cannot get to 120-130 plays in a 6 or 7 minute quarter game.

Re: offline CFM users only, post your sack numbers

      Another quick update.

Just got done playing my 3rd preseason game against the Eagles, same settings as before, the result? 7 sacks again

Almost forgot,I did make a couple of changes to the penalty sliders that were posted in the slider section...

      Intentional Grounding-80
      Roughing the passer-5

These did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation...I have tried all the "theories" and as I mentioned before, and has been mentioned by others...this is a CPU QB A.I issue....nothing more nothing less.

      So,in 2 preseason games,as a team I have 14 sacks..unbelievable at this point...the defensive visual aids on full doesn't do anything either..

Before I do anything drastic (trading in the game) I'm going to go back to my AM set,and delete the tuner (just trying anything at this point).

It really pisses me off too,I really like the game, and like it alot, but the issue with the sacks is killing me,and it's not something I'm willing to "overlook".

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

The gameplay is so good this year I have no problem over looking a lot of these issues, even if I'm not experiencing them as much as others.

You likely get much fewer plays per game which results in less sacks. Your sack % when lined up with # of plays is likely on par with everyone else.

It appears to be a clear issue and when we have guys play the CPU in our online CFM they see the same thing. DET vs ATL...11 sacks for the user and he's a guy who I'd vouch for all day long with regards to his sportsmanship. He won the game 14-10 so those sacks likely killed any chance the CPU had to win.

You would think Matt Ryan can get rid of the ball and not take 11 sacks. This was on All-Pro 11 min quarters with 17 sec accel.

@Mercurial: how many plays between you and the CPU do you get with 6 minute quarters?

To be honest the only time sack numbers went down was when I was playing all-madden default instead of all-pro. All sack numbers became normal so you might try that to help with this issue

That's not an option because the game is playing well user v user on AP. No way to change it for just CPU games which are few and far between for us.

anyone found a workaround for this? when qb takes 7 or 8 sacks the impact in the outcome of the game is too high. I can`t stand it.

every theory i tried didn`t work.

Just recorded 11 sacks on EJ Manuel. All-Pro, 12 min Quarters, CPU Pass Block @ 80, Only rushed at most 4 guys, didn't even press a button, and stopped controlling at all in the 4th Quarter.

Fantastic game apart from this issue.

Has anyone tried my sliders for a few games to confirm if my style of play is the exception and not the rule? I know my style of play is not for everyone, but I suggest people to try it to see that it is achievable.

Worst case scenario: super sim D

It's obviously something you'd have to be open to. Maybe only play D on game-winning drive attempts or something like that.

Just an option so don't tear it to shreds, I know it's not going to be something popular.

Two separate leagues, same settings in both. All-pro, 11 min quarters, 16sec runoff, cpu pass block at 65. Both leagues are fantasy draft also.

Top 5 teams are users. I'm the 49ers, only user the safety. I had a 16 sack game against kaepernick and the Eagles. 3-4 defense Pass rushers are: LE Tank Carradine (9 total), RE Ricky Jean François (7 total), ROLB Bark Mingo (6 total), LOLB Jamie Collins (4 total), and DT Marcell Dareus (4 total)

Top 3 teams are users. I'm the Pats. 4-3 defense pass rushers are: defense Tank Carradine (17 total), Watt (15 total), Star Lotulelei (13 total).

I haven't been keeping up with this topic so forgive me if this has already been suggested, but I play on All-Madden with Human Pass Block set to 75 and CPU Pass Block set to 100; I haven't had any issues with sacks being too numerous.

If anything, I might reduce the slider values because I'm only seeing about a sack per game.

Do you mind sharing the whole set? What is cpu qb at?

At this point I'm open to share every possible combination.

Jay I will try your slider set as well. What is your "particular style of play"?

How exaclty, I control 1 single player and never switch (play with the CB) so i have 0 impact on pass rush.

He does the same or like super sim?
