Speed rushers need a decent pursuit angle, try a Wide 9 formation or manually set them wide and run the horn. They will either blast past the OT or the OT will get their hands on you and (due to your poor strength) you'll get pancaked. Quick acceleration off the snap and speed finesse move works well too but you can get pushed into the crowd inside. You should really be aiming to get around 2-10 sacks per game, above 5 or 6 being a massacre. Any more than that and it's less realistic which is what I want.

How can an OLB be a 3-4 pass rusher under type when you you view his player yet it also says his scheme is 4-3 under his player card....its Brian Orakpo

Try changing his position to anything, and then changing it back. There is a bug/oversight in the game where players are listed as an incorrect player type by default, but toggling their position fixes it. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure, but Orakpo was a 4-3 DE in college and a 3-4 OLB in the NFL, so maybe they're splitting the difference :-D

If you move Orakpo to a 43 DE his overall will be like a 95

Is NFL 16 (PS4) good game (all aspects), worth buying?

Specially for someone who wants to learn about this sport too...

Yes for the gameplay. You'll have to play with original (out of date) or final rosters, not week 1 rosters (unless you can find them in the community downloads). Its the best gameplay in a long time but CFM grows stale eventually. MUT might be winding down now the season is finished and draft champions is fun for a couple of times. If you can get it below half the original asking price it's a bargain.

sacks. how do i get them?

whether i sim or play the game, i barely can get a sack. i now have the cpu pass blocking slider on 2. if i manage one in a game it's because i blitzed and eventually ran a scrambling QB down with a CB.

are you a 43 or 34? its easier to get sacks in a 43

Hi!

I'm in the 6th season of my Raiders Franchise and the Rookie Contract of my Starting QB,Antuan Rogers,ended.
I resigned him for 6yrs 200M(he has 99OVR,1 MVP and 1 Ring and only had 3 seasons).
But now the Funds of my Owner are -80M because i gave him such a high bonus.
How can I reduce that?
Is it possible that i have to end my career because i have too little money?
Or is -80M not that high?

niners with a base 34.

i know it's generally easier to get sacks with a 43 but was hoping there was some other insight.

Wow that is a lot of money... and a lot of guaranteed money. Did you give him all that as you wanted a sim style feel to the contract or did the CPU demand that?

Anyway. As an owner and the commisionner of your own league, go into user teams in the settings menu and add $5million to the funds of your team until you get back to 0, although this does break the immersion as in the real NFL that sort of contract is a team breaker and it's meant to make you think about just letting them go and signing tonnes of other talent instead maybe.

I give my players that kind of contract which they would get in real life too.
The CPU demanded 150M over 6yrs but after his performances in his first three seasons he deserved to be the highest paid QB.

Ok I'll do that.
But that doesnt change any contracts right?
When a player like this is about to hit the Free Agency, I have to resign him and probably give him a similar contract.
I can't let players like this go.

Hey Guys! I've been a Madden player since the year 2000 and I felt like going all out this year and to try to make the greatest roster ever put out by anybody for madden 17 roster share. I've been currently working on a Roster Project for Madden 17. The Roster will include lots of legends and all time madden players. I've been using excel to make an awesome spreadsheet with all the players' information so I can easily go off of that when I get a hold of Madden 17.

My player count is 631 right and will continue to rise. Let me know if you would like to see the excel file to see if there are players that you would want added if not located in my file. The file will have each players name, height, weight, college, number, team, birthday, hometown, state, skin tone, attributes, traits, and equipment.

I'm just seeing if anyone would like to help me with the attributes and traits for the players. We could send the excel files back and forth from people who want to help. Let me know if you're interested. -Okythoos
