Anyone know if you're able to select what team wins when simulating? EA said we would be able to do that this year but I haven't seen it..

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
So really, you have nothing to lose and more immersion to gain by going owner mode. That's what I did. Right now, I really just want to play games, so I'm not looking too much at the other aspects, but I may decide down the road to get more into the owner side of things, and I won't have to re-adjust my settings to do so.
The setup for the owner mode 32-team control master file takes 20 minutes, tops.Comment

Haven't checked for the reg season but during the playoffs if you go into the league weekly schedule menu you can "force" a win for either the home or away team.Comment

The way I look at it is if you go owner mode, you have the full range of the game's functionality available to you. You can get into all the financials, you can let them coast a bit, you can relocate--whatever. And you can fix things for teams that get into bad financial spots by auto-allocating extra funds in the management screens.

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
After going through some of this thread, I think when I fire up my PS4 again I'm just gonna get the opening day rosters, start a single team CFM and take it for what it is. This is too much and has made my head hurt trying to figure it out. [emoji1]

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Options-->Settings -->User Teams
Scroll to the team/owner you wish, choose X for actions, then choose "Add $5M to funds" if you wish.
You may also clear cap penalties to help with finances from this screen. Very easy.Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Why is it that if you control all 32 teams, set trades, fill rosters, everything possible the CPU can do to OFF, then sim the preseason the rosters are still butchered week 1 regular season, at least prompt me to make the cuts. I cant even explain how frustrating this is, I just want to play the 2015 season with accurate rosters, THATS IT, nothing more. Why has EA made this next to impossible? its a borderline joke at this point. If I wait for an accurate 53 man roster to come up on roster share, then use that to play 32 team control CFM, will it still fill in rosters above the 53 man ones I import and destroy the accuracy of the roster I want to use. For Christs sake I just want to start week 1 with decent rosters, without spending hours figuring out where all the players have gone to that I never even released. I spent 20 minutes just selecting all the teams to control, simned the preseason, spent more time fixing Packers depth chart, found Jeff Janis in the free agent pool, could never find Ripkowski who was cut (not in FA pool, who knows what team he's on or maybe he just vanished) Then went to try to fix the Bears roster, Jared Allen was gone. I just turned off the Ps4. Does anyone else not feel ridiculous that it takes this kind of effort to do what used to take about three button presses? I fear my Madden days may be coming to an end after being a loyal customer since 1990, thats how frustrated I am. Its been this way since the introduction of CFM, and I am sick and $&@"ing tired of it.
Guys.....like Rev made reference to in his post, I just want to play 1 season with real life opening day rosters and depth charts.
Is this possible without the cpu randomly scrambling rosters when I sim ahead to week 1?
Is there anyway to set up a season that can mirror the rosters and depth charts of the current NFL season IRL?Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Thanks fellows for all your help in this. I have my franchise all set. I have all teams settings set. I'm ready to start.
I have 2 questions.
Do I need to go into every team and set the auto-sub numbers for each team?
What should I do to prevent an auto update by EA that may disrupt the current game play?Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Heres the way Im doing it, first start your cfm with whatever roster you feel most comfortable with. Pick your initial team (for me the Packers) and sim through the preseason to week 1. Then I trimmed everybody off the Green Bay roster who didnt belong, set the depth chart using ourlads.com, and then searched out all the missing Packer players that the cpu had released and then let sign with other teams (some stayed in FA pool) fun times! you get to search through all FA's and all other team rosters looking for players who shouldnt even be off the roster. When that was completed I created new coach (under my name so I had control of both) with Chicago Bears as thats the first week team the Pack plays. So instead of selecting all 32 coaches and fixing 32 rosters before even starting I am just doing it one game at a time so I can at least get a few games in. As long as you dont advance to next week you can just fix 2 teams at a time before a game, then by week 2 all rosters will be fixed. I Already have Pats Steelers updated and Depth charts done so that I can play that game the next time I play MaddenComment

Lastly is this for coach mode of GM and is there a difference?

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Setting auto subs for every team doesn't seem to have an effect. I'm done multiple week Sims with them set for other teams and with them at default at backup running backs get about the same amount of carries with them set and with them not. So to save time, I'll just set them before I face that team that week.
Edit: I monitored the Cowboys box score with auto subs on and auto subs off. Some games their backup wouldn't even get a carry, sometimes they would get multiple carries. This was with auto subs set and auto subs set to default.
In all the box scores in the simmed games I am seeing a lot of QB's get anywhere from 3-8 carries. Even guys like Peyton and Cutler.
In one simmed game Titans ran the ball 63 times and that's without me even messing with their auto subs.
