Perhaps, but Bookers way is practically fool proof. I feel like with A&S method, I may forget to do something throwing everything into disarray.

There are no issues using his way? Just each week before I face my opponent I just create a user for that team and then retire user after im done?

Doing the 32 method just gives me the option of more control for everyone if I want, correct? What is it your afraid you might forget to do?

I agree there is a lot to the set up of A&S's method but it does have it's perks. One being the ability to set the auto subs of all the teams, not just your own. If this isn't done you will rarely see any substitution by the CPU teams which in the end will cause, among other things, a lot of RBs to have higher rush totals because they basically play every snap. You will see a lot of 1000 yd rushers.

To save time and get this going, since auto subs only work in head to head games (right?) I'll just set them for my opponent that week so I don't have to sit here and waste the time doing it and I can start playing.

Meaning that this passed the test of playing a divisional opponent for the second time and being able to assign and retire the coach successfully both times?

Just to test, I successfully took control of the Colts (as Chuck Pagano) and retired him about 6 times over a 5-week period with no issues. So facing a team a second time shouldn't be a problem.

I don't care anymore. I'm just going to start with 32 user controlled active owners. With the threadstarters suggestions and coach firing off. I'll fire the coaches myself

1. What, if any, are the differences between these two work arounds? The work around at the start of this post and the link included above

2. Does it matter if I already have the tuner downloaded for either or should I delete it now and redownload it?

Why is it that if you control all 32 teams, set trades, fill rosters, everything possible the CPU can do to OFF, then sim the preseason the rosters are still butchered week 1 regular season, at least prompt me to make the cuts. I cant even explain how frustrating this is, I just want to play the 2015 season with accurate rosters, THATS IT, nothing more. Why has EA made this next to impossible? its a borderline joke at this point. If I wait for an accurate 53 man roster to come up on roster share, then use that to play 32 team control CFM, will it still fill in rosters above the 53 man ones I import and destroy the accuracy of the roster I want to use. For Christs sake I just want to start week 1 with decent rosters, without spending hours figuring out where all the players have gone to that I never even released. I spent 20 minutes just selecting all the teams to control, simned the preseason, spent more time fixing Packers depth chart, found Jeff Janis in the free agent pool, could never find Ripkowski who was cut (not in FA pool, who knows what team he's on or maybe he just vanished) Then went to try to fix the Bears roster, Jared Allen was gone. I just turned off the Ps4. Does anyone else not feel ridiculous that it takes this kind of effort to do what used to take about three button presses? I fear my Madden days may be coming to an end after being a loyal customer since 1990, thats how frustrated I am. Its been this way since the introduction of CFM, and I am sick and $&@"ing tired of it.

This thread is amazing. I have been reading and bouncing everyones ideas around in my head the last 2 days. Bigs ups to everyone!!!

The only issue I saw was having the computer cut all the wrong players as a start the 53 man roster regular season.

Sooo, I sat up a long time last night with my computer in lap reading every teams depth chart and cutting the appropriate practice squad players. Every team in the league has 53 healthy players +however many they have on IR. I play on PS4 and am willing to upload if anyone has interest.

It is my way of giving back to anyone that has helped!!

Yes. I think I am done with Madden. I am so thankful for those who are doing EA's work fur them, but this is too much work for someone with very little time

I can't play with the 53 they set because I can't skip preseason and the only work around is running 32 teams and set their charts. Some of us just don't have that time
