Hmm... I know the admin can add funds to user teams, do you think those would persist after retiring?

Too bad we can't just turn off the drive goals... Seems easier! [emoji26]

I thought about myself and i think you are right. But i think if you create a coach instead of an owner it shouldn't effect the fincances at all.

Yeah, sounds like creating a coach is the way to go.

Maybe the roster update is being delayed to give us all time to figure this out.... [emoji55]

If that's the case online cfm may be an option with full coach firing etc and a draft.

Yeah , You should create a coach instead of owner and problem solved. I'm going this route .

But then I would assume that would reset a teams schemes, causing their players overalls and depth chart to change drastically. You could potentially see a 3-4 team switch to a 4-3 midseason because you "retired" a coach and they had to sign a new one.

Meaning if you play against the Bills and create a coach, then retire him after that week...well since you created a coach and/or retired Rex Ryan (if you just took him over) now the team must hire a new coach and that new coach could be a 4-3 guy who airs it out on offense rather than a 3-4 with a ground and pound run game offense like Ryan.

Of course I could be wrong here and "retiring" a coach actually just means making them CPU controlled again (meaning they don't actually retire, you just stop controlling them)

Retire coach doesn't retire. You just stop having control over that team. From what someone said a few post back.

Yeah, I think Rex Ryan just continues to coach the bills even after you retire him as a user character.

Spitballing here. If we "retired" every coach before the draft except the one we want to control, giving control of the others back to the CPU, would it conduct draft day trades?

That seems like the only hangup with 32-team (and it's a rather minor one to me anyway, not something that's going to prevent me from doing this even if it doesn't work).

Some great ideas being thrown out here. Thanks lads.

It's quite appalling it takes the actual customers to have to come up with these "work a rounds". Unacceptable in my eyes.

With so many ideas being thrown out can I ask for a final, clear set of instructions be typed up and posted. It's quite difficult following everyone's posts and ideas

                          Cheers

Just simulated a season and even without playing to trigger a goal many players went up over 90. Is that normal?
