Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
booker21 this method is a lot better than controlling all 32 teams so thanks for thinking of it. Still a shame this is what will need to be done this year for me to play a good CFM but it's better than no solution.<a href="http://www.operationsports.com/Danimal/blog/6756-going-old-school-v1/">Read my blog Going Old School v1 GridIron! football.Comment

Yeah if you are not into controlling the 32 teams this will do just fine. I on and off option would be much better but EA insist on forcing us to play with the confidence thing.
Anyways I'm glad we found a solution to enjoy the cfm and is not that annoying. Once you get how it is it takes 10 secs before the game and 10sec after so it could be worst.
Now enjoy the game

Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
So I've yet to start my CFM, so I have a question.
Just how bad is the confidence issue? Meaning, I know everyone in this thread is doing this workaround to take care of the confidence problem, but in terms of genuinely affecting your franchise and the games you play--how bad is it really?
Are you playing the game and all the sudden are blowing out teams (or getting blown out) due to the confidence? Is it more subtle, where you'll lose a game in the end because the opposing QB goes "robo QB" on you due to confidence? Or does it moreso affect the rest of the league, where you're seeing teams with mediocre rated starters winning games because they get massive confidence boosts?
I'm just having a hard time deciphering if the confidence issue is a CFM killer, or if it's more of just a disappointing bug but one that you can deal with (like the left tackle regression, for example)?Comment

Sorry for the video. I was the Dolphins. You don't touch your coach/owner. You assign their default coach to the team you are going to play. Then you play the game. And then before advancing not week you retire the CPU coach.
Hope this clarifys

Yes once you assign the coah to the CPU. You return to your team. Play and then before advancing week go to CPU team u just played and retire their coach. And you will be automatically back to ur team

Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
But doesn't confidence affect the current game you're playing, or am I wrong? I read somewhere about the QB turning into robo QB of last year with the confidence boosterMiami Heat
Miami Marlins
Miami Dolphins
Florida Panthers
Miami Hurricanes
Chelsea Blues
InterMiami
MLBTS ‘23 (PS5)

I can't see CPU confidence but confidence ratings doesn't change on the ui at least. I don't know if this is happening under the hood.

TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
Originally posted by bcruiseI'm not sure where else to put this....
Something strange happened in my OS online CFM. I did complete some drive goals in my week 1 game, but once I finished and got back to the game prep screen, I didn't have any boosts. The only thing I had was mostly negative confidence from that awful game.
So....did they hotfix online CFM to basically make the drive goals give no reward? If they did, it might be saved from this problem.
Anyone else want to try an online CFM game to check? I'm going to do one in a test CFM vs the CPU now.
That would be really good news. Hopefully they can implement that on the next patch so we can use it on offline cfm.
I play coop with my friend so offline is a must.

Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
So maybe it's because the league is 32 users, even though they're not the SAME user (as with both workarounds for single player CFM's).
I deleted it because it's more relevant to the 32 users thread now. And trying to find out from the other league members if they got any confidence boosts.Comment
