Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
I played a game last night and forgot to create a coach before doing so, boy, what a difference that made. I steamrolled the Colts 44-10 as the Titans. It wasn't even close.
I have no doubt that drive goals and confidence boosts are a game killer and need to be removed from future iterations. What a terrible idea!Comment

Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
There is a small problem with this...I ran into with CFM...once I retire as say the owner of the team...next time I play that team...I will be unable to create another owner for that team, I have to create a coach...so, for division opponents...I will make it through exactly 1 season before I am SOL it seems. Is this right or did I miss something?
Your team can be a owner though. I think i explained that in the first page.English, is not my first language.Comment

Re: TUTORIAL: How to Disable Drive Goals For Solo CFM
Perfect example of a "new feature" making the game worse - at least for some people - and the reason such a feature should be optional in settings.
When people are trying to figure out how to turn off a new feature that says it all.≡Comment

For instance lets use an Offensive Lineman as an example.
Jamil Douglas (Arizona State - Miami Dolphins)
Intelligence
Wonderlic - 25
Physical
Height - 6' 4"
weight - 304lbs
Arm Length - 33-3/8
Hand Size - 10-3/4
Speed/Agility
10 yard - 1.75
Short Shuttle - 4.75
3 cone - 7.99
40 yard - 5.25
Strength/Jump
Bench - 28
Vertical- 29"
Board - 8'3"
Strengths
Quick Feet
Pulling Lead Blocker
Weaknesses
Lacks Finesse
Lacks Aggressiveness
No motor
Now have EA create 200+ different abilities(Positive & Negative) with each affecting how a player plays on the field plus the animation sets they will have available. Included these with details of what they do in the strengths & weaknesses of the player. This would lead to far greater variety in how players play and it would look on the field, plus why is someone getting their physical abilities altered based on their confidence. This should be adjusting just awareness and EA should use Wonderlic scores just like the NFL does.
Doesn't this break down give a far cleaner and more distinguishable picture. This then allows you to determine how players play by PLAYING them & seeing how they really shine. It shouldn't be by determining guys based 83 run block and the other an 82. That does not represent football.

Are you winning all games with big stats?
Keep in mind that if you win games easy. You will get confidence pretty high.
Just imagine how mug confidence you would be getting with drive goals turned on

Yea you would think it would reset each new season. Each season has it's own identity in real life and each team creates a new identity for each new season.Comment

So, even though we are doing the sibgke team method or the 32 man, computer teams confidence are still pretty high. Handful of guys in the league who are in the 90's. Was this known already? As far as my team. Few guys in 60's after 10 games, most of the 50's.

Edit: I have two players at an 84, 4 in the 70's, and about 10 in the 60's. Thing is, i just got manhandled by Seahawks 42-21.Comment
