Absolutely road, I could totally understand that. Yeah some of those tackles are totally over the top. What I love personally is the idea of there are endless amounts of different ways of players going down. Forward, backward, backbreakers, falling, flipping. Yes this is definitely a preference thing.

Same with me...some of them may look messy with limbs and what not going everywhere but at least there is a lot more variation of tackles without the tuner instead of the canned tackle animations that have been there since the PS3 days with the tuner.

If you uninstall and reinstall do you lose any save info?

Nope. Everything is saved, even your settings (at least, on Xbox One).

Wasn't saying they were. All I was saying there was that if Clint's word would have been good enough to take at face value if he confirmed suspicions on this (and we know it would have been), it's certainly good enough when he shot it down.

Booker, thanks for posting the videos. I'd say give it a shot and tweet at Clint or Rex to show what you're talking about. Maybe something can be done about it. Video is a huge key here, because we can all see the same thing at the same time instead of depending on "it feels different", you know?

Still seeing the "insta sheds" way too often but I'm starting to think that it's just an All-Madden thing. Only time I ever see it on my side is in the running game.

Like I said before I haven't seen much success from either side since release but since this tuner I've started noticing a lot more of what I'll describe as "crash 11." Basically as soon as the ball is snapped on a running play all 11 players become heat-seeking missiles to the running back which makes it extremely hard to gain anything. The game I just played against the Redskins CPU and I combined for 103 yards on 57 carries.

This game is awesome out of the box, with no patch or tuner. They did a great job with the initial release. However, the game was extremely polished after the first patch, and that was my best time with Madden 17. The game still maintained some playability with the second patch, but it tightened the game play up some, and you lose some of the jaw dropping moments seen in out of the box and release day patch game play. I will say I will miss the color rush jerseys if I have to go back to enjoy the game. This tuner destroys the game play of Madden 17, and if included in the next patch, with no changes. It may be the death of Madden updates for me this year.

In the future, I think I am going to quit updating after the release day patch, because it does seem that other "hands" start getting involved. Madden 16 was excellent until the third patch, so I'm starting to see a pattern.

If you don't play online just delete the tuner and avoid next patch. Yeah you will get no commentary updates but to me is worth it. The gameplay is amazing the way it is. I feel threaten when playing against good RB. Not all defenders are Ray Lewis and tackling rag doll is live and kicking.

Enjoy the game man.

You can only delete the tuner. Unless you are on disc. Then you can have launch experience.

The only way I can risk it is If they make user QB accuracy worst. Otherwise I'm done. This is the madden I get for 2017. If there are any improvements they will come for 2018.

Without the tuner and user QB acc at 7 I'm extremely happy with the experience I'm getting. Perfect? No. But I'm getting fun and one of the most enjoyment are the tackling for me. I said on another post. Tackling and passing accuracy are key.

I love the organic drops. I love the break tackles. Not all defenders are Ray Lewis, and the versatility that each play has because of this. That HB may drop a pass when the pass is a difficult one. The organic drops because they just collied.

Everything they tuned is what I feel make madden 2017 special. So yeah I will give up any new fix for what I have.

Exactly, so don't... I've admitted that my view is subjective. However, I think there are more people (some recognizable) than you think that feel the way I do. This tuner simply was a response to address those cries from those who don't want to learn how to play the game properly. It's pretty clear to see that it was an extreme nerf to the game play, in my opinion. Yes, there may be a little frustration behind the way I express my opinion, but I think after a number of years of feeling "completely screwed over" by post launch updates, I have the right to vent a little.

I purchased the game I played in the store. I did not purchase the game for the I experience I had with this tuner.

When the next patch releases, will be locked out of the server if I don't install it. I'll be forced to play a game with missing features. I'll get no commentary updates, or access to the EA share, and I helpless to do anything about it, unless I want to endure the pain I experienced with updates in all of the Maddens previous to 17. Since Madden 12, all were returned to the store by December.

Yeah, we can all look up tweets, guy. It's one somewhat recognizable name tweeting about this. Let's not overstate it as some swell of momentum.

The problem is you continue to make definitive statements like:

I am willing to bet every single one of these changes were made based on multiplayer feedback. It's a yearly cycle with Madden. I don't know why I am even the least bit surprised.

That'll never happen. I am sure the marketing department has something to do with this. They are going to cater to the majority of the market and their revenue source. Once, they have your money, they have it. Simulation players typically do not spend money on MUT....

So, the game play is slowly changed and tuned to the liking of the online player.

All of these before you even played one second of the game with the tuner to judge any of its' effects.

Look, despite all the typing I've done in this thread, I really, really don't care if you like or dislike the game. I'm not trying to convince you or anyone else. Everyone makes their own decision on a game. I'm saying if you're going to make claims before playing that the game is drastically changed and continue to make them after trying the tuner, it's only fair to expect you to back them up with evidence. You haven't.
