To me, there is clearly an issue.
That's because that image isn't coded for HDR at all. Thus why it looks wrong and the rest of the game looks completely fine on a properly configured set.

Man really hope they don't jack this up as it looks great as of now.

This is incorrect. You're now crushing black levels - if that appears "better" to you I suggested toggling your gamma setting on your TV.

HDR should never be set to full as it's not possible to display Full RGB in HDR. You should be setting your PS4 PRO as follows

Video output mode YUV420 (this is the correct HDR setting)
        Limited
        Resolution automatic

thanks for the vid find the door. I think it's a difference in the b6 and the e6 when it comes to hdr gaming. My b6 doesn't seem as bright then again I'm playing it on the Xbox one s maybe that plays a part. I have to play on her standard to get Madden to look like that.

                No problem.

There really shouldn't be much of a difference. I've heard that the E6 has a slightly higher peak bright in HDR but it shouldn't be that noticable in the way you're describing.

Go to the link I provided in the description of the video you'll find the LG B6 owners thread with plenty of gamers.

Honestly though your settings shouldn't look much different from mine. Have you updated to the latest firmware off the website?

Awesome info! I thought I was somewhat knowledgeable when it came to this sort of stuff, but I had no clue about changing the resolution off of automatic for 10-bit panels which I'm pretty sure I have with the KS8000. Can't wait to get home and try it out. Do you think it would be a pretty big impact on colors? I didn't have much of a problem with them before.

It should most definitely. Sony really needs to force that change systematically - thousands of others are being mislead.

I noticed a significant difference in just HDR performance alone when making this change.

After playing a quarter at night I can totally see a difference. Colors look so much better! Excited to try out an afternoon game. Easiest way for me to tell was seeing how bright the scoreboard was contrasted against the night sky.

One question I have is for non hdr pro games should I switch back to automatic or ugv420 or what should I switch back to?

Thanks again man. Everybody should watch your YouTube channel. Very helpful. Even for people like me who known a thing or two about displays.

Yes otherwise you should switch it to RGB outside of HDR as the current spec can handle it. Auto doesn't do it for me with the PS4 as I've had too many strange occurrences with the setting. I'd say force it when necessary to YUV420 otherwise leave it on 2160pRGB.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm considering launching a channel with this video being the bedrock. Getting tired of the 9 to 5 lol.
