    Found this video:

More people saying it looks "cloudy" or washed out.

This fix immediately solved the washed out visuals problem in Madden 18 using a PS4.
Already watched that video, didn't make a difference for me.

I agree, this setting is a must. I did tweak mine to my liking on my tv though, but having it on full did wonders. Nothing washed out here.

Really glad to hear it achieved the same result that I got. Game looks amazing now and I’m really enjoying the Frosbite engine.

I’m going crazy looking at some of you guys photos and I can’t achieve that with my tv when it comes to madden everything else I play looks great in hdr. I know the say 65 inch TVs have some color uniformity issues so maybe this is the case in my situation.

Yeah, I posted some awesome pictures on here, but i removed them due to people trolling.I don't have time for that. I tweaked my settings I had amazing results. Colors vibrant & pop. HDR does work on Madden

You really don’t. Unless your TV has color range or gamut issues. Go to Rtings.com and get your TVs recommended settings computed by experts.

Yeah, you shouldn't be upping the color and you certainly should not be dropping the brightness either. You need to calibrate your TV using a disc or a professional method. Or go to a tv site like rtings.com and find settings then tweak slightly (keyword is slightly) to your liking.

Never up your color. That is how you get unrealistic shades. If your TV is set correctly, the colors will pop at their lower setting.

                              Not true on the oled.
I run HDR Game with Dynamic Contrast at High and Color Gamut at Normal Brightness at 46 or below and Color at 65 or Higher, I run Dynamic Color at High or Off and Sharpness at 13 or below with Super Resolution Low or Off

Madden 18 and Uncharted- I run HDR Standard with Dynamic Contrast Med-High Settings, Tru Motion Off, Super Resolution Low or Off, Brightness 46 or below, Color Gamut Normal, Color 55 or above, Sharpness 13 or Below

Raising Color actually shows off more graphical effects

THIS INSTANTLY SOLVED the problem. All of the other settings should be on automatic with the exception of the RGB setting. Here is where I found the fix:

                                https://youtu.be/Mm2sco3gb8s
To anyone and everyone changing your console's RGB settings...

When you change RGB and you pick "full" or "limited" all you are doing is telling your TV where black levels begin and end. You're not "getting more full colors" by picking "full" in the PS4 or Xbox, it just changes how colors are mapped. In fact you might end up with a worse picture. You could make it worse by making the image appear washed out, or by crushing blacks so dark you cant see shadow detail.

RGB Full maps out colors and black levels on a scale ranged from 0-255. PC content is mapped in a signal sent using the 0-255 scale. In that scale black starts at 0 and the brightest white ends at 255.

RGB Limited maps out those SAME COLORS and black levels using a 16-235 scale. Movies and TV programs are mapped in a singal sent using the 16-235 scale. In that scale black starts at 16 and the brightest white ends at 235.

What is most important is that you set BOTH the console and your TV's RGB settings the same way. That way the image will look nice and not be washed out or crushed black. If you dont have them matched, and lets say, have the PS4 at "Full" and the TV at "Limited" the PS4 will tell the TV black colors start at 0, while the TV thinks black levels start at 16, and you will end up with a super dark picture. If you flipped them (so still you dont have a match) you would end up with a washed out picutre where blacks have a grey tinge.

I repeat... matching RGB signals is the key!

So if you set the PS4 to "full" you should make sure your TV is set to "full." If you set the PS4 to auto, make sure your TV is set to auto. If you set the PS4 to limited, make sure the TV is set to limited (or whatever your brand TV happens to call limited and full. Different TV brands refer to RGB settings in different ways).

I repeat... BOTH 0-255 (RGB Full) AND 16-235 (RGB Limited) will give the SAME BLACK LEVELS and a nice HDR picture, as long as both your TV and console are set the same.

That is why auto/auto is recommended. Anyone here complaining about a washed out image or crushed blacks probably is using mis-matched settings and/or hdtv's not designed to handle 0-255.

Really the 0-255 scale is meant for playing PC games on a PC monitor.

Since most of us are playing console games on HDTV's (which are designed to use the 16-235 scale) its actually best to stick with auto/auto or limited/limited.

To make things more confusing (as I said above) some TV's refer to RGB settings in different ways. On my Samsung SUHD 55KS8000, RGB settings are actually named "HDMI Black Level" with the two options being "low" (which actually means RGB Limited) and "Normal" (which actually means RGB Full).

So in my case in order to have both my TV and PS4 settings match for a nice HDR picuture, I needed to choose "Full" on the PS4 and "Normal" on my TV. Or I could choose "Limited" on the PS4 and "Low" on the TV. In EITHER case I will get the same picture.

There is some bad advice in this thread. The true key to proper RGB settings is make sure your TV and console are set the same way.

Here is a great article explaining things:
