Yeah, same. If Madden on PC ever gets the next gen upgrades it'll be a no brainer.

It feels like you are going to have to commit to playing it on PC and then your mind starts to get used to the old movement, cuts and tackling. I tried and it drove me nuts. I went back to PS5 and the movement felt like a dream but the AI was crap.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do but I will say I think it will be very difficult to go back and forth between next gen and PC. Additionally, I still get no vibration on my XboX Elite controller on PC. Hasn't worked on Madden PC for years.

All the wonderful movement and tackles means nothing when you have brain dead AI, broken coverages, and franchise mode with flawed logic.

I’ll take the upgrades galore on PC over that, and ultimately I did. I have also been a big big fan and supporter of next gen. But it’s not a contest.

I agree that the AI is much better in the mod. I'm gonna keep playing it and I'm sure I'll get used to it.

It's so much fun having the FOX, or ESPN, or NBC score bugs. And tons of other stuff you can do.

I tried going back to next gen for a game earlier today and yeah, the AI needs a lot of work.

Guess it comes down to personal preference and what you're willing to overlook & vice versa. I'm a movement & gameplay guy first and franchise guy second. I think anything that gives your more options to tinker with is the obvious choice.

Dang it, the discord and thread make me wish I'd gone gaming PC over PS5 now...

A few suggestions or tweaks for mods that I've made to EA (that they said they wont do):

              Scouting - improve % meta
Current tiered scouts are as follows but it actually makes T1 redundant

              Current
              Tier1 No Specialism = 55% 5grades
              Tier1 Specialism = 59% 5grades
              Tier2 Specialism = 65% 6grades
              Tier3 Specialism National = 80% 8grades and archetype.

              Change T1 Scout bonus to 5%, T2 to 10% and T3 to 20%
              Tier1 No Specialism = 55% 5grades
              Tier1 Specialism = 65% 6grades
              Tier2 Specialism = 75% 7grades
              Tier2 Regional Specialism=80% 8grades
              Tier3 Regional Specialism=95% 9grades and archetype
              Tier3 Specialism National = 100% Full Unlock

              Staffing
Also, as they've fixed the coaching carousel bug, then they'll get the coach reset bug now (if an OC or DC is hired as a HC then their staff perks are fully reset and begin to progress from the start). A mod that automatically adds the first perk of the defensive tree for DC or offensive tree for OC at least keeps the new pathway sim to the origin of the OC or DC. Also, if a HC is then hired as an OC or DC it resets their points too. I've seen Robert Saleh get hired as an OC, a mod to fix defensive HC reverting back to DC and offensive HC reverting back to OC would help.

Vibration is working for me. I'm using the Xbox Duke controller. It's not a wireless though, so maybe that's why....

PC gaming isnt for everyone, especially those that cant afford to keep up.

                      Thats where I fall in.

Its more financially feasible to spend $500 on a console once every 5-6 years, vs $1500-2000 off the bat for a gaming PC. On top of that changing out the video card every so many years, upgrading the RAM, OS, and peripherals. Sure, not everyone is going to be doing all of that, but if I spend 2k on a pc, its gonna be the best it can be at all times.

Thats what I love about consoles, you buy a game and its guaranteed to work without having to worry about processor, ram and video card.

That's a message right there. lol My lil 2020 Nitro 5 is cool right now. But at some point, it might not like a newer Madden version. Thankfully though, I primarily emulate PS2 LOL

This is definitely a drawback, but one that I think can often be exaggerated, however, with the current GPU market and overall chip shortages with electronics it's not a good time to build a PC.

Madden, though, is a lightweight game to run and even in the current market a very cheap PC would run it no issue.

That said, I'd only recommend someone go the PC route if they already use a PC routinely, plan to use the PC more often, and/or have multiple games on PC they want to play.

It's hard to advise someone to build a $700 PC if Madden and YouTube is all they'd use it for. Everyone is in a different spot financially, so to some that's not a big purchase and may be worth it. I literally only bought my PS4 for The Show and found it worth it, but to others that is a waste. PC gaming is no different, really. PC's just offer infinitely more options for what you can use them for compared to consoles, obviously, but not everyone has the need for those options.

That's where I fall in canes. You bought your PS4 for the Show and I only bought this $700 laptop to emulate PS2 and be portable. I play other stuff like the GTA Trilogy and some RDR2 and Madden but that's not why I bought the machine. If i'm not playing a game on it, it's typically powered down. I youtube and all that other stuff on my iPhone, iPad or my MacBook.

Understandable, however if I am going to put down a decent chunk of change for a gaming PC, it wont be JUST for Madden.

I would find an excuse to get PC exclusive games as well as others, and just like everyone else I would want them to look their absolute best.

I had a gaming PC a few years ago, and mainly used it for RTS games. Once I opted to get in AAA games, I found out my PC couldnt handle it. I spent 1300 on the pc, and after year one I already had to upgrade stuff. My fault for not buying the best off the bat? Probably. But I just stick to my guns and do consoles.
