I've always thought he was a HOFer. Even at the start of this thread.

        Oh, I have no doubt.

You were pretty much the only person who argued for him (at least on the first 5 pages) and you got quite a bit of heat for your opinion.

Considering that we're talking about years of progression, from when this thread was made to now, I don't see a problem with that.

Personally, I have always thought he was borderline, but would eventually get in. But after today, I think he's cemented himself in the Hall.

Given that half of his seasons as a full time starter have occurred since the start of this thread, it's not surprising.

When the topic started, I doubt he would have been a Hall of Famer.

Now, I think he's a lock. I simply lacked the crystal ball in 2007.

He would've been one regardless of today's game, IMO.

                nope, not before Phil Simms.

Haha, what an idiot. Even before 2008 the guy should be considered a HOF'er. You guys are the same idiots that think Art Monk wasn't qualified.

The Hall is reserved for those elite players that not only perform on their own, but also make their teammates better. He's a stud off the field and at home, too. No doubt this guy deserves it especially since he wasn't originally wanted by an NFL team. His stats alone speak volumes.

Plus, the guy has had to deal with the most immature qb's in the league - Eli, Josh McCown, and Matt Lienart. I'd like to see you guys deal with idiots like those and still maintain your composure.

Re: Kurt Warner, Hall of Fame?

The thing that could hurt him is that he's only played more than 10 games 6 times in his career, and that includes being benched and not having a starting job.

So he's pretty much had 6 great years, and a few in the middle where he didn't do much. Obviously a run through the playoffs this year would help his cause.

If Kurt wins the SB this year then he deserves to get in.

He's started 10 games seven times in his career. That's two less times than Steve Young did.

The great man just showed us all again as to why he is a first ballot HOF'er. What a performance! Un-freaking-believable!

Yes, Hall of Famer, no doubt about it in my mind.

That's like comparing ice cream to Hellfire.

Art Monk was a career stat compiler vs Warner's arguable 3 MVPs in his only 3 seasons as a starter...
