For one who cares what sex Aikman liked he was great. And second this is coming from the one guy that I can't see why he still has a job. Skip knows nothing about sports. ESPN keeps him on the duce for that reason I'm sure. And once the "Ocho" gets off the ground I heard he will move over there. Bottom line is this guy just likes to piss people off and has no clue what he is talking about. Ever village has a idiot and he is ESPN's.

When he says the star black players,he means Deion Sanders. Deion and John Blake are also the ones that pushed that Aikman is racist thing. How did Sanders put it in Boys will be Boys, "How come Aikman is always yelling at the brothers?" "You never see him yell at the white guys,only the brothers." Also the whole racial divide thing didn't come along until John Blake and Deion hit the scene.

1. John Blake was an assistant coach. He was hardly a star.

2. According to Bayless, Switzer ordered Aikman to apologize after dropping the "N". So it wasn't black players alone who had a problem w/him in that area.

And for everyone else, Skip Bayless never said Troy Aikman was gay. He never even tried to hint he was homosexual. The gay angle was only inserted to illustrate the bickering between Switzer & Aikman. Read the entire link, or at the very least, the part I c&p'd on the opening page. The title of this thread is misleading.

While you may hate Bayless for his opinion, and I'm w/you on that, the guy was reporting events, not opinion. He put himself open for slander by writing what he did. But I don't remember any Cowboys suing him. We can discredit his opinion, but his position as a commentator shouldn't discredit what he wrote as a reporter.

Aikman and Kordell Stewart have been accused of being in the closet for years. The Kordell Stewart rumour which may or may not be true had something to do with him not being part of the players union or something.
