If the Vikings do well and Bradford plays his role, I guess they can recoup some of this by trading him again right?

No recouping it. They validate it by winning the Super Bowl, otherwise they got robbed.

(I know you were joking, good one too)

Schefter said the 4th is conditional, can become as much as a 2nd based on how the Vikings do this season.

Is Wentz the week one starter now then? He didn't even play preseason, did he?

I doubt it. Chase Daniel used to play for Pederson in KC. He'll be the starter, it's just a question of for how long?

No, it's Chase Daniel, and not because of Wentz's ribs. The plan was to have Wentz essentially sit out this season originally with Bradford starting and Daniel being the backup. So now Wentz will be the backup until they think he's ready. I say Week 5 or 6 or 7, after the bye.

EDIT: WELP, there are whispers that the Eagles actually are planning on making Wentz the starter as soon as possible

EDIT #2: Yeah, he'll be the Week 1 starter if healthy. Seems they've had a change of heart after seeing him in action and want him out there ASAP.

I agree. I think Wentz will be starting before the halfway point.

I don't know if the Vikings approached the Niners about Kaepernick but if they were offering anything similar you'd certainly think they would've jumped at it since they aren't going to be any good anyway.

To me the Vikings would be more of a threat with him than Bradford because of the extra dimension he brings running and the fact that Bradford isn't durable.

Well at least we got a decent QB that can throw downfield. Vikings got Robbed for sure but seems as if they really are in win now mode with Petersons contract coming up.

Yeah they gave up way too much but at the same time they replaced Teddy with someone at the very least serviceable. Like I said Bradford played pretty well at the end of last year (not so much on the stat sheet but the decisions and throws he was making)

So week 3 Bradford gets hurt?

What a dumb move by Minnesota.

I honestly don't know if Bradford is good or not. Probably not a good thing when you've been in the league what, 6 years now? Obviously injuries impact that hugely but it seems like we keep pushing back the threshold to decide whether he's legit or not.

This will be the best team he's on though. Now or never Sammy. Then I guess off to another team next year? Unless Bridgewater still isn't healthy which could be.

Everything worked out wonderfully for the Eagles.

I wouldn't rush Wentz, but it's inevitable in Philly. The team could be playing well (say like 5-3 or something) and the media and fans would find a way to create a QB controversy. That team will live or die by its defense this year... which is funny to say after the years of trainwrecks they've had defensively this decade. Jim Schwartz makes defenses.

Not sure why more people aren't just called a spade, a spade.

Viking's got traped, or they traped themselves. Either way, trape was committed.

                                Good for the Eagles.

If Bradford plays more than 10 games I will be shocked

Nah for real, I hope it works out for Minny. I think they can be a threat to win the NFC. Hope it all works out. Still feel bad for Teddy
