I can't believe the Colts aren't making any changes. Changes should've been made last season and now we're doing this again? It's really unbelievable. One thing to keep Pagano because I'm still not sure how awful or not he really is. Honestly I think this is the 1st year where we actually underachieved, but it wasn't by much.

But Ryan Grigson? Really going to keep him? There is a mountain of evidence against his employment. It's absurd.

Irsay may be able to claim his drug use has clouded his judgement.

        Jed York can't do that.

Oh well, what do you expect when you're handed an NFL team by your family?

Fortunately, while he's suspended he doesn't count against the roster, so he can still have some very limited involvement with the team and the team can continue to provide him with whatever kind of support net they are able.

He's reportedly got mental health issues and uses marijuana as a coping mechanism.

That circumstance doesn't make him above the league rules or above consequence for violating those rules, not at all. He's also obviously an extreme longshot to really have a meaningful NFL career at this point. However, a little human empathy for his plight might be nice.

If anyone who was ever diagnosed with mental illness which resulted in multiple major life set-backs is a ****-up, then hell, I'm no better than Randy Gregory.
Listening to the local radio here made it seem like Jerry Jones and the Cowboys might still fight for Gregory though it isn't clear what that might mean.

Agree completely. Grigson has been pretty awful with the draft. Their Oline is one I wouldn't put my worst enemy behind let alone the prize of the organization. They have no real drafted talent on defense Vontae Davis was aquired via trade. They are wasting prime Andrew Luck years and to have not won the AFC South the last two years, given the **** show Houston's QB position has been is a reason enough to be fired IMO.

Pagano seems like he is in over his head. Good guy, but probably better suited to run a defense. The press would've killed them but they probably should've kept Arians and promoted him to HC. This from the outside looking in obviously, not well versed in the inner workings of the Colts, but that is what I see.

I was driving last night and they announced on the radio that McDaniels is leaving the Pats to seek a head coaching gig...just seemed odd for him to do that now.

I went and googled the story after your post, however, and I see whoever reported it was incorrect...he MIGHT leave AFTER the season. Big difference...

Interesting. He's suing on technicalities, not because he was suspended for something he didn't take. Good luck, bud.

Does anyone really rate McDaniels? He did nothing but burn bridges in Denver, had a pretty average tenure with St. Louis, but has always been successful in New England. Go figure?

I think every single coach that has flown the nest and left New England to become a head coach elsewhere has done very little, at least within the NFL.

I think the possibility is remote. The long standing thought these days is that McDaniels is the heir apparent in New England. The more likely situation to come out of this season is that Matt Patricia becomes a head coach somewhere else.

Man, I had forgotten that he was the OC in STL for a season.

The NFL is littered with guys who've had not so great first stints as head coaches then done better the second time around. Hell, just look at Belichick himself.
