Why would an offensive assistant worry about what the defense is doing though (which could be the problem with team). We also talk all the time about how stubborn coaches are. Having guys out there that would rather win "their way" versus trying something else isn't uncommon, imo.

Didn't Singletary moon his team in the lockerroom to get them to play better? I'd argue that was pretty awesome.

True. And McAdoo, Koetter and Marrone could 100% work out. All I'm saying is I don't follow the logic and, on the surface, it just comes off lazy.

Yes he did. And even better the story goes he addressed the team for a solid 3-4 with his pants around his ankles.

LOL! That sounds like something Ditka would've done back in the day too.

Singletary wasn't the greatest head coach around but he was always good for an interesting background story or quotes.

Judge ruled Aaron Hernandez's tattoos can be used against him in court. via PFT:
One tattoo shows a revolver with one empty chamber along with the words “God Forgives” written in reverse. A revolver holds six bullets; Hernandez allegedly fired five shots when killing de Abreu and Furtado.

The other tattoo consists of a semiautomatic pistol along with an empty shell casing. He has been accused of shooting Alexander Bradley, a former friend, in the face and leaving him to die.

Already convicted of one murder occurring in June 2013, former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez faces charges of a double murder arising from a drive-by shooting in July 2012.

The Bills head coach search is apparently down to Sean McDermott and Anthony Lynn, with talks of Mike McCoy coming in as OC if McDermott is hired.

Further reports have elaborated on things by saying the Bills haven't kept in contact with any of their other candidates. It looks like it's going to be the McDermott and McCoy show in Buffalo.

Not a bad couple hires if that's the case. It isn't very splashy but McCoy is a good at offense and McDermott has done a pretty good job in Carolina.

Sounds like the Broncos are going to hire Vance Joseph which means Wade Phillips is wide open. Congrats to whoever gets him.

I just don't get it. Defense was great, offense was the problem. Kyle Shannahan was there and they don't take him?

I'll trust #7 but not sure I get this move.

That's certainly puzzling to say the least. The defense did have some break downs this year but I chalk that up more to them being on the field way too much and literally carrying the team at times. I respect and trust Elway as well so we'll see how this goes. One would think with the connection to the Shanahans that Elway would lean that way especially since it was the offense that was the big let down this year.

Just throwing a completely unsubstantiated theory out there, but there were reports of tension between the offense and defense. Perhaps the front office felt like Wade contributed to it or did not do enough to stop it.

That's surprising to hear. Everything I heard today on the radio was that Vance had his interview but was on his way to SD and SF without an offer

Wade is almost 70, perhaps it's a good way to retire.

Possibly, but even if he did, I'll take that defense any day tension or not.

I believe most of the tension though was due to the fact that the defense was playing so well and the offense wasn't doing anything.

He's set for those interviews but stayed in Denver and my post was based on the what Klis reported last night that Elway and he were having dinner at one of Elway's restaurants last night which to my knowledge wasn't something the other coaching candidates got.

He was due to stay overnight anyway and fly out in the morning anyway though so it may have been a coincidence.

But it's the morning and he's not hired so maybe that ship has sailed.

Vance Joseph is at Dove Valley now. Will be offered the #Broncos job per multiple sources.

Also, league stadium and finance committee meeting has started.
