    Uniform related note.

Next week when the Giants play the Cowboys, they'll be wearing their all-white Color Rush uniforms.

It'll be the first time in 17 years that the Giants wear white at home, and might be the first time ever they go all-white at home.

And actually for the first time ever, the Cowboys are wearing their navy jerseys with their white Color Rush pants. So silver helmet, navy jersey, white pants for the first time.

This week is a big test. They see if the defense is feasting off of lesser teams or if they can do it again to a good team.

Come on Jags, I want to see you guys get 10 sacks on Wilson and get Seattle out of here.

Just another reminder that it’s a Pats world and we’re all just losing in it.

This is so wild to say, but this is going to happen again next week and it’s going to be the 2016 Rams QB’s that pull it off: Goff in LA, Keenum in MIN, and Nick Foles, who was cut during training camp for the ‘16 Rams, will start for the Eagles.

It’s kind of cheating because Sean Mannion actually made that Rams roster... maybe the Bills can start him this week or something.

Verizon doubles the $250m/year it's paying the NFL and will stream from it's other properties (Yahoo, go90) even if you aren't a Verizon customer starting w/ the playoffs this year.

The NFL and Verizon have signed a five-year deal that will see wireless communications outfit stream in-market and national NFL games via digital and mobile platforms starting next month. A formal announcement is expected later this morning. Sources said that the media rights and sponsorship deal is worth an average of close to $500M per year, an increase that nearly doubles the $250M per year Verizon is paying as part of its current four-year deal . The biggest part of that increase comes from an increase in media-rights fees, rather than sponsorship revenue, a source said. The NFL has been courting digital media companies for years in the hopes that they will emerge as competitors to traditional TV networks for media rights. The size of Verizon’s increase could be a sign that digital media companies will be ready to make serious bids when the NFL’s media rights are up in ’21 and ’22.

Not a fan of Verizon owning Yahoo like they do now, but it does allow for cool crossover like this. Yahoo’s streams have been flawless in the past.

We’ve seen TV ratings dip (across the board), I’m guessing this is a play to bring in a whole new viewing audience.

Look at the win probability bar here:

                  Is Yahoo high?

EDIT: In case ya'll were wondering, that 1% chance didn't happen tonight.

On another note, no thanks to Brady's less than stellar performance but thanks to an equally as bad performance with Cooks, I was able to win a playoff squeaker!

I honestly didn't even know he was still playing. I was wondering where he went after Chicago. I guess with the new kickoff rule though I wouldn't hear much about him, would I..

He hasn’t played since last postseason when he was in Seattle

I still remember his game against the Broncos when he was still in Chicago and he ran back 2 TDs and almost had 3.

You would’ve thought they learned to stop kicking to him but alas. As a Packer Fan, he was one of the two players that had me legit nervous every time he was on the field. Randy Moss was the other.

He should be elected to the Hall of Fame. I don't think there has been a player in history who came close to affecting field position like he did. He would either kill you with a return or you'd kick it short/out of bounds to avoid that. The Bears were starting around their own 40 to midfield so much it was ridiculous.
