Oddly enough that second charge, while less severe, is what makes me fairly confident that first charge isn't going away or being downgraded.

I'm going to google what exactly constitutes that charge in Nevada. Typically you are not getting a charge like that just by going 15-20 over the limit. Add to that it was a residential area.

Edit: Its one of those laws with an automatic trigger. Normally it carries a six month sentence and some fines, but if it results in death it carries a 1 to 6 year sentence.
Somewhat off topic but I'm not a fan of those types of laws, though it may be a unpopular opinion.

Anyway looks like the charge is often associated with illegal street races so that may give us some insight into how fast he was driving. Of course the other car blowing up already did that

There is a scary amount of 'but toxicology isn't back yet we don't know for sure' from fans while they seem to ignore that less than 24 hours ago his actions resulted in a 23 year old woman being trapped in her vehicle and burned alive.

That man has a body(at a minimum depending on what happens with his girl)and was possibly under the influence.

Once you do that, there ain’t gonna be no “Wait for all the facts to come out” from a team. DUI by itself? Sure but a dead body, that’s automatic for any team as it should be.

That’s surprising unless there is some sort of clause that voids his guarantees in a situation like this I would have thought they’d do like the Falcons did with Vick and wait until he’s out of prison to release him since he doesn’t get paid if he can’t play

He would have been on paid leave throughout the entirety of litigation.

Really strange to rule him out now since he said in August he's vaccinated, if so he'd only need to test negative, twice, 24h apart.

If he's not, he's out an automatic 10 days.

Might be a middle-ground there, if he's vaccinated and symptomatic it could explain him being ruled out.

He said back in August that he was “Immunized” but never explicitly said he was vaccinated.

What ever the hell that means(I know what it means so save the explanations, people)

                            Not vaccinated according to Rapaport

Prosecutors in court this morning said Ruggs was traveling about 156MPH about 2 seconds before the crash, 127mph when airbags deployed.

Blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, and a loaded gun was in the car.

A dog was also killed in the crash.
