Very unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't mind NFL doing a realignment, even without any new relocations.

AFC, Ravens to East, Dolphins to South, Colts to North.

NFC, Cowboys to South and Panthers to East is probably only change.

Obviously these will impact rivalries which is probably why no change has happened.

NFL clubs were informed today that a private workout will be held for Colin Kaepernick on Saturday in Atlanta. Session will include on-field work and an interview. All clubs are invited to attend, and video of both the workout and interview will be made available to clubs.

The NFL arranged this workout opportunity for Colin Kaepernick, and teams will have the opportunity to evaluate his readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career. His agents have said he wants to return to the NFL, and the league hopes this provides that chance.

As Colin Kaepernick tweeted, the NFL didn't inform his reps of Saturday's workout in Atlanta until this morning. Kaepernick's reps asked for workout to be on a Tuesday, the day of most workouts, but NFL said it had to be this Saturday. He asked for a later Saturday; NFL said no.

About a 00.1% chance he get an offer.

Would love for someone to sign him just to see some heads explode.

Oh the NFL and it’s lame attempt to show that Colin isn’t blacklisted by any owners. Having a workout the day before games when coaches are preparing for games.

Weird to do this 3 years later, after he settled with NFL on the collusion thing. I wonder if this was part of that deal. Isn’t it weird for the NFL to be involved in setting up a workout for one specific player? The average guy doesn’t get a special “pro” day like this.

Just seems like a PR thing. Kinda checking the box like the Rooney rule does. “We tried, see!!”

I would’ve 100% signed him 3 years ago, he should have been no doubt about it. Years later, I don’t know. I wouldn’t sign any other player who hasn’t played for 3 years either... maybe Andrew Luck in 2022? Lol

The way QB’s are going down, although 10-11 weeks in to the season if you don’t have a backup plan or haven’t already used it... again, seems like they’re just doing it to say they tried to help. Whole thing is odd, at best.

Lol people already trying to make it seem unfair. If he can play he can play, whether it's on a Saturday or a Tuesday. Says he's been working out for the past 3 years.

I'm assuming coaches are wrapping up the gameplan and scouts/GMs are focused on CFB on Saturdays........ Don't see a reason why this couldn't be done on a Saturday........ ya know, the "off day?

If it's about teams not being able to show up or make it a priority, I can see that. That's on those teams. There's quite a few that could use a good QB. I just don't want to hear it as an excuse if he looks underwhelming or off.

You probably run the risk of alienating some of your fan base....maybe even half? Of course, remains to be seen.
