Yea, let’s remember that it isn’t just up to Houston to decide where he goes. He has plenty of leverage.

My bet is on New York.

Yeah. Watson has more leverage and I do think he is willing to call their bluff and sit out.

If I'm Houston, I would prefer either Mia or Jets. I rather have a top 3 pick than what I would get for another team. That way you could choose between Wilson or Fields. Or even better if you still like the upside of a Darnold or Tua, Houston can trade that 2nd or 3rd pick to acquire even more picks

Both sides have leverage depending on how far they’re willing to take things. Houston can tell him to accept whatever trade is best for them or he’s not getting traded. If he refuses to play for them he has to pay back $21 million. If Watson wants to take it a step further he can show up and be a complete malcontent to force his way out of town. There is a good chance both sides come out of this looking bad

Not quite, the offense went a month without scoring a TD.
Five straight games without a TD, and somehow we won two of those.

Pack, keep them mature old man posts in the NBA section, bruh. There's a lot more/longer dead periods in the NFL than the NBA.

Can’t he just come out and say he wants to play in Chicago just so I have a sliver of hope? Lol come on. I’m tired of seeing Ditka and the super bowl shuffle on VHS.

                At least you have VHS!

Cleveland's championship videos are silent films in black and white that feature Otto Graham rescuing a woman who is tied up on some train tracks while an 8-year-old kid, who is feverishly smoking cigarettes, looks on. The piano tunes are fantastic though. [emoji38][emoji6]

Watched the Sirianni presser. All those Carson questions was ridiculous smh. Literally felt like 80% of the questions were Wentz-related. I get that they have to ask those questions. But, they couldn't have expected him to give a hot take or a concrete answer. That's a situation where you have to either give a "safe " answer or dodge it. You can't say anything that Will contradict yourself later. There's a lot more I would have like to known about instead of just Carson.

I don't blame Houston for not having any interest in trading "the player" lol. It's a different situation than Detroit with Stafford and taking a big cap hit. Stafford is still good, but he's 32. It's best for both parties to move on and do what's best for both for the future. I wouldn't want to trade a legit top 5 QB who is 25. Good QBs are hard to find. That's a situation where you have to reconcile the issues.

Totally agree about Houston. You can get ten first round picks and there is no guarantee you’ll be able to find a QB. Hell I’ve been a bears fan for over 35 years and we’ve been looking for one the entire time

I would only do a trade like that if I felt that Wilson or Fields can be a similar if not better QB than Watson in 3-4 years or that I feel extremely confident in my drafting ability. I never like the idea of trading proven young players and trying to replace them immediately in the draft. It's like SF did with Kinlaw or Raiders did with Ferrell and Crosby. You're taking a huge gamble over valuing your ability to develop players

                              The Texan hire is...interesting.

In the interest of transparency, I don't know who this guy is. He's a Ravens coach, but I don't recall ever seeing his name mentioned prior to this.
