You don't need to be so flagrant about it! Gus Bradley is right there!

As is perfectly on-brand, the Commanders issue a petulant, whiny public statement about the DC AG press conference tomorrow, managing to somehow make Brian Robinson's shooting about them.

I cannot wait for Snyder to sell and eff off forever.

I guess Snyder doesn't have anything on the AG to make him or her "not **** with" him. [emoji2960][emoji3539]

No it did not. It sucks for those that have experience, it sucks how it will personally affect the coaches, but at the end of the day, it's the team's right (in this case, probably 100% Jim Irsay's decision) to hire whoever they want. At the end of the day, it's a business for Irsay. If he had to care about how this would affect someone's personal life, he'd never fire anyone.

Jason Verrett tore his Achilles in practice yesterday. Seventh time in nine seasons he'll end the year on IR. He's had the absolute worst luck. Feel terrible for him.

Er, I'm as big a fan of hammering Snyder as anyone, but this seems dubious. Does the team even have facilities in the District? Setting aside the question of whether the law can be used in this way, how is the DC AG even the one with standing to bring the case?

Colts are deliberately tanking. I think it's a brilliant move to pretty much insure the tank. The only thing that'd be better is if the Colts start winning and avoid it.

Racine said his office has jurisdiction to sue because the District of Columbia's consumer-protection law is broad and covers any material misstatement that a business or merchant makes that could affect consumers in the district. He said the district is filing a civil complaint because his office does not have criminal jurisdiction on the matter.

Definitely dubious and reeks of either a political stunt or misuse of office imo

Just need the right kind of motivation.

Something tells me that Irsay isn't quite as attractive though.

The sexual harassment cover-up has no connection to the product they produce, putting this under a consumer protection law is wild. If I was tasked with bringing this suit, I'd try to argue it relating to potential job postings in the District or something, but this reading is nuts IMO. Theoretically, they could sue the Bills and Panthers for the sexual harassment happening that happened in their building too.
