    I didn't specify, my apologies.

ALL 53-man roster players make AMAZING money and they were the guys I was referencing. Practice squad guys get paid pretty decent for their efforts as well.

I'm actually okay if they try to get rid of excessive individualism. There is a point too far.

The real problem is the media turning team sports into individual sports, such as Kobe and Lebron in basketball, and any QB in football. I hate how they try to measure QBs by Superbowl wins as if the QB and the QB alone wins a Superbowl. I should say the NBA has done a great job at turning basketball into a individual sport though, which is why Kobe and Lebron can thrive.

Detroit schools would be rebuilt in a season.

Seriously though, that's a great gesture. Good for him.

Regarding the profanity crackdown I do think there's a point where players can use profanity in a very taunting way. It's all in the context of the swearing IMO. Of course, referees have no idea of context when they have to do that soo...This could be interesting.

I wonder if it's driven by the contracts with the networks. Doesn't FOX, CBS, NBC, ESPN get slapped with a fine when a bad word is heard over the air?

This could be them leaning on the NFL.

The NFL is asinine. Deshawn Goldson got suspended for a Helmet hit, but Brandon Merriweather will be fined for his two similar shots this past Sunday...

Doesn't the Goldson suspension stem more from multiple offenses opposed to the actual hit itself tho?

We may have just lost Throwback unis.

“Our Head, Neck, and Spine Committee, chaired by Drs. Hunt Batjer and Richard Ellenbogen, and the Player Safety Advisory Panel, chaired by John Madden and Ronnie Lott, have recommended that players no longer wear different helmets as part of a ‘Throwback’ or ‘Third’ uniform,” the memo from the league office said. “Our office supports this change and has reviewed it with the chairman of our Health and Safety ownership committee, Dr. John York, who concurs with this recommendation.”

The league office told all teams planning to wear throwback uniforms this season that players must wear their regular helmets on throwback dates. The outside of the helmet can be modified by removing or replacing decals, but the helmet itself must stay the same.

No reason to lose them. The helmet companies. can make any color helmet and the teams can throw the logo.
