Jackson is a great fit in Kellys offense, but he isn't the only person who can fit that scheme, as its mostly the scheme not his route running that is getting him open and in these mis-matches. Yes his speed is a thread, but there isn't a lot of technique needed to do a lot of what Jackson did this season.
We could always draft a WR in the 2nd round and trade Jackson to Washington for 2015 and 2016 first rounders!!

Though he'll never win any of the actual major ROTY awards, this is PFF's choice for OROTY:

They've won a few division titles, won a few superbowls, etc. The criticism of the Skins gets ridiculous. They won the division just a year ago. The dysfunction is real, as is the worry that it's a downward spiral they may not get out of. But no, they are not basically the Browns (sorry Browns fans). And despite every year they are projected to finish last and Dallas is expected to finish first, they are basically the same organization.

If he could just stay on the field, Maclin is every bit as good as Jackson, and I think would be in Kelly's offense. No chance they pay him more.

He's a headcase because he wants a raise? I guess I'm a headcase to then.

What is a championship building mentality?
Yeah, that label just follows him from college. Not so much headcase, more a selfish, diva WR mentality. But he's been good since coming to Philly. See how hard it is to shed that label though?

If he can get more money, more power to him. He wants to hold out and miss training camp and whatnot, let him pay the fines and grab his replacement in the draft or FA. Jackson is really good but he is easily replaceable. There's always great athletes, speedsters who come out every year or don't fit elsewhere. I think Kelly's offense would be able to find a suitable replacement quickly.

The Eagles look primed to contend for years to come. They need another piece or two on that defense to really be a Super Bowl contender, but it appears everything else is in place. I think that's what Feared means. They're knocking on the door and a distraction like this, especially so soon after Jackson just got a new deal, is not something they need.

To me, Philly has all the leverage.

He hasn't become a headcase quite yet, but if he goes down this road of continuing to demand an extension, or new contract and pushes this to a messy hold out into the off-season it will become quite the distraction, then yes that would put him in Headcase territory.

I don't think he's a headcase, but he's playing with fire. Good receiver, but he seems to be overestimating his worth to that team.

On that note, it sounds like Terrell Suggs is gonna be expected to renegotiate/extend his contract in it's final year, and if he doesn't he could get the Anquan Boldin treatment.

Not stereo typing or anything but you do realize the first quarter mil goes for a car. Then the entourage. No concept of saving or managing money. These guys need some guidance or they will end up broke when they are gone. It's a short career. Sad really.

Wait, what did I miss? How did this quote:

“I definitely feel it’s something deserving,” Jackson said at his locker in the NovaCare Complex on locker cleanout day. “We’ll see how that plays out, and hopefully we can work things out smoothly and not have to worry about anything out of the ordinary.

“But I definitely feel like it’s deserving. I’m proven in this league, and after this past year, went out there, no distractions, and just really put it all in for my team and went out there and had a lot of success, so we’ll see how it goes.”

become "he's flat broke, with a bunch of baby moms, expensive cars and an entourage"?
