    Great player, horrible reporter.
only thing wrong with this post is the "great player" part.

        Re: NFL Off Topic 2012

The folks at FOX have developed a tradition of providing game picks via a comedian. This year, they’re providing a new comedian to provide the game picks.

Frank Caliendo announced earlier this month that he has left FOX after nine years. During halftime of Sunday’s 49ers-Broncos game, FOX announced that Rob Riggle will take Caliendo’s place.

Riggle, 42, is a veteran of shows like Saturday Night Live and The Daily Show. He has appeared in numerous films, and he hosted the ESPY Awards in July.

He also is an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Riggle debuts on September 9.

Maybe for his first segment he’ll impersonate Caliendo impersonating John Madden.

I don't care about this Riggle guy I just want a good pregame show.

BTW I know this is more college related but the CFB on FOX studio team sounds like they'll be a lot better than the NFL guys in terms of giving meat and potatoes during their pregame show.

I find all the pregame shows to be mostly unwatchable. Gun to my head I'd rank them ESPN, CBS, FOX in that order. Fox is nothing but incoherent yelling and loud, forced laughing.

NFLN is better than all of 'em. That being said, I'm not waking up early to watch them this year. Thanks west coast!

Didn't even think of NFLN, good point. I don't watch the pregame shows on any channel now. EPL soccer fits nicely into that timeslot.

I don't watch preshows. I wake up at 9:50am on Sundays. Take a leak, brush my teeth, wash my face, and it's kickoff time.

Because us in L.A. can do it like that lol.

Damn, I wish I could actually sleep in that late. Even if I stayed up past midnight, I still get up at 5AM like clockwork.

Seen this being discussed on NFL Network but what is everyone's thoughts on Jerruh basically giving Dez Bryant his own set of rules and his own Security Detail that Dez has to pay for himself? Fair or Unfair?

Fair for the team to protect them for all the money they pay him. If he could keep himself out of trouble on his own, the team wouldn't be forced to do this.
