I misremembered how bad the Bears O-line can be. Oh well, crow eaten.

No need to eat any at all, sir.

Because in a week, we could very easily go right back the same old, same old with this Defense so I'm not even going to get too cocky or confident just yet with them. Unless they play the Bears of course.

SERIOUSLY. Which one of you mofos is on ESPN right now?

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Some thoughts on Thursday night's events at Lambeau Field, a 23-10 Packers victory:What it means: Led by their defense and special teams, of all things, the Green Bay Packers evened their record at 1-1 and picked up an important early NFC North win.

Why do people think that Rachel Nichols is hot? I can walk down MIchigan Ave in Chicago and find 10 women in 15 minutes better looking than her.

Crazy stat from Rich Eisen, who could have seen this:

After week 2, the Saints are the only winless team in the NFC.

So, how long until these scab officials are put out to pasture. The debacles that were Was/StL and Phi/Balt were a joke. No one was in control. At somepoint it actually becomes a legitimate safety issue, in addition to diluting the on-field product.

It'll take weeks of this for it to give the refs any leverage IMO. Week 1 not being like this week was half the battle. As long as next week isn't as bad as yesterday no leverage is created or gained by anyone, the impasse continues.

As it is we're already stuck with them until week 5, wouldn't be surprised if every week that goes by tacks another week on.

I doubt 2 weeks will force any changes.

Week 1, they were fine for the most part and so far this week, they haven't been as good as they were last week. But if they go back to how they looked Week 1, then there won't be many complaints.

Regarding that stat about the Saints, meh they'll bounce back from that. The problem is just the massive overreactions that have been coming from folks in the Media making big *** deals out of playoff teams going 0-1, 1-1 and 0-2. Last time I checked, division titles and playoff berths weren't clinched in Week 2.

At some point? Did you see the hit Golden Tate put on Sean Lee? Per Mike Pereira it was a textbook example of an illegal hit on a defenseless player, yet no flag was thrown.

Why would throwing a flag have made that play safer? This is still football, not running of the bulls. Illegal hits even if not flagged will still be fined. Not getting a 15 yard benefit from the infraction in the game isn't going to make that play any safer.

Do you really think if a deal was struck today we would have replacement officials until week 6? You can't really believe that. That signed through week 5 mess is a negotiating tactic and you know it.

I don't but like he said, what leverage do they have right now? They had one good week and one bad week, but then what happens if they have 3-4 straight weeks with minimal complaints(compared to this week)?
