Someone needs to teach Jake Locker a change up. He looks like he puts zero touch on the ball. Almost reminds me of a mobile Derek Anderson.

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
I wouldn't say so much as that we have failed but more so that we are rebuilding. I agree with you that in terms that Rice means more to the Ravens because you know they are going to (probably) be a contender. I firmly believe the Jags will contend for a wild card this season and surprise people. If they do as well as I think they will then MJD will be just as important to them.
And it was pretty funny considering the discussion, but the showing in the preseason game last night REALLY doesn't matter... besides Jennings further showing what he can do if he had to take over the spot.Comment

I get what your saying about the Rice MJD thing man but at the same time MJD is one of Jaguars last hopes. Who knows they may be LA Jags or something soonIf you like sports check this out! TBDSBP and like on FACEBOOK

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Don't listen to the media, they don't actually do any research about the Jags. The Jags lease is long and it is very hard to get out of. The Jags have to pay the city to just play the game in London.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
I've been kinda following Russell Wilson's quest to be the starting QB of the Seahawks and man oh man i'm cheering him on. Everything i've seen has been good with this kid. Yes I know he's short for the NFL game but I think he can overcome that with his feet and strong arm. He also seems to have a good sense of what to do in any given situation.
No matter what happens in regards to the starting job i'll be following him as I could see him doing big things in this league if given half a chance.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
OK this may be truly off topic, but alas this is the off topic thread...but why does Brad Johnson get such a bum rap as being a 'game manager' for that TB SB team? Was watching part of Super Bowl XXXVII, and yeah they had a great D, but the D alone isn't enough for any team, and Johnson actually put up some great numbers that year (3000+ yds passing 22 TDs/6 INTs, 62% completions).
Compare that to Trent Dilfer who in Baltimore's SB year was 59% completions, 12 TDs/11 INTs....just bringing this up b/c lately it seems Dilfer and Johnson have been put into the same category as 'game managers' who won b/c of a great D and doing nothing much, when it's clear that Johnson at least was more than a game manager and was able to make plays to help that team win games, particularly in the SB.
Another point, while Dilfer had Priest Holmes and Jamal Lewis in the backfield, Johnson had the great Michael Pittman. Just wanted to bring that up since it seems that it's become common revisionist history that Johnson was just lucky to be there and didn't really do much to deserve that SB title, when the stats at least tell a different story.Comment

Lol Cassell got a little *too* carried away celebrating. Afterwards one of the players went over to see if he was ok, and he just tried to play it off like nothing happened by pumping his arms in the air and continuing to celebrate.Minnesota Vikings

Re: NFL Off Topic 2012
Extremely Lazy. The Jags aren't going anywhere in fact a lot of them still say Henne will start over Gabbert = lol.
Not that it means a whole lot but I though this was an interesting comparison this far.
Blaine Gabbert: 29-47, 291 yards, 61.7 pct, 3 TD's, 0 Int's
Jake Locker: 22-44, 235 yards, 50.0 pct, 2 TD's, 1 Int
Christian Ponder: 22-38, 331 yards, 60.5 pct, 1 TD, 1 Int
Dosen't mean much because it's preseason but its nice to see Gabbert progressing. Now if only we can duplicate another Justin Blackmon.

Then it all fell apart lol. People forget he threw two TD's that game and could've thrown a third that was a couple yards short. Pittman rushed for over 100 yards that game also. People just remember the defense.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

Watching Luck vs RG III, and one thing stands out: Randle El is extremely painful to listen to as a sideline reporter. Guy's been stammering and stuttering all day.....
Great player, horrible reporter.Comment
