lmao...this guy... classic way to start it off though right?

we'll see what he got, didn't follow him much in college, after we drafted him, I checked him out on youtube, etc liked what I saw, but you could honestly find a youtube video that makes any nil player look awesome when they were in college, doesn't always turn out that way. we'll see.

disappointed in Jake Lockers whole tenure, was really pulling for him. My bet is he is Russell Wilson's backup next year.

lol it seems everybody predicts a QB will be Wilson's backup. I actually think his current backups are perfect for that team and the offense they run.

Im simply saying that because of the Washington connection, and Locker could emulate wilson to a degree, I honestly don't know who their backups currently are or if they would even be looking for a new 2nd string, but Ive also said before the season starts, he either making it or hell be wilson back up just feels right lol.

See, Mett WOULD throw 511 touchdown passes, but as soon as he turns 30, he's retiring, buying stock in Skoal, and moving to Aruba and living the rest of his life drunk on a beach. So try to squeeze as much as you can out of him in these 7 years.

Also, yeah he likes to change up his style.

They have Tavaris Jackson and I believe Pryor is still floating around in their system. I can see Locker working as well, but I don't see why they'd spend money on him instead of one or both of these two.

No more Pryor, only Jackson on the active roster. Only other QB in the system is B.J. Daniels on the practice squad. I think they're happy to have T-Jack as the backup QB, but as evidenced by trying out Pryor this year, they're willing to look for an upgrade if it's there.

I could see Carroll having interest in Locker as a backup though. Back in his USC days he seemed to be impressed by Locker at UW.

I just think Locker, even as a backup, would be more expensive. And there's no way of knowing unless we see him play but I don't think trying out Pryor is a negative knock on Jackson. Pryor had some success in Oakland, which is impressive considering what they were dealing with there (still are). I could see the coaching staff wondering if they could turn him into a star, or at least better than Jackson. I think it's a fair assumption to say Locker is better than Jackson but the cost may be the deal breaker.

Anyway, Locker is still on another team and may not even want to go there even if they want him so a lot of talk about a potential back up at this point, lol.
