Not only that but NFL Network has a reality show on aspiring players called "Undrafted" (I think that's the title) about UDFAs going through the combine and being "coached up" to see how they can even get on the training camp roster.

Just saw bits of it but I guess it would be like a prequel to Hard Knocks in a way.

Probably not getting a big audience but if they keep it in production and is airing it, somebody must be watching.

The National Football League has fined the New York Giants $150,000 and Giants coach Ben McAdoo $50,000 for their roles in illegal walkie-talkie use during their Week 14 win over the Cowboys, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Rapoport adds that the Giants have also had their fourth-round pick in the 2017 draft moved to the end of the round following any compensatory picks.

I love these penalties. If the Giants get into the playoffs by winning one more game, they couldn't care less about losing $200,000 and a draft pick getting moved down.

Huh? Must be a typo. Only New England does stuff like that.

Ya, if this was the Patriots that had used walkie talkies there would be articles about stripping NE of titles, Belicheat and company needing to forfeit games, etc.

I just wish other teams would stop breaking rules so Patriots fans can stop being mad online. It's exhausting to watch.

All the "if it were [insert team or player here] they would've gotten [insert exaggerated worse punishment here]" talk is worse than any of the actual acts. Pats/Pat fans/Pat defenders are the last who should be crying victim. It falls on deaf ears.

If this came out after the Giants won the superbowl, there would be the same over the top talk. If this came out after the Giants had been caught and/or suspected of multiple other similar incidents, there would be the same over the top talk. If the response by members of the Giants to the claim was to bash the league/commissioner and not fully cooperate with the investigation, this would drag on in a similar fashion. Please don't start the narrative that the Pats are some victim the NFL is forever out to get.

You got a better chance of hitting the lottery before seeing consistency in this league.

Has nothing to do with the NFL out to get NE...I'm talking perception of fans/media.

I see no one has brought up the strangest NFL story of the season.

A guard working for a private company running security for the Chargers was caught on camera having some "self love" near the cheerleaders on the sidelines before this weekend's game. I'm not going to link the video here, you can find it yourself.

So, that's it for that guy. Can't show his face around his friends or leave his house for the foreseeable future.

That may be the biggest case of not having self restraint I've ever seen.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
