Just read Tomlin's response to Bradshaw's criticism, and he basically came out and said what I thought.

That zinger with Hollywood Henderson was golden.

No idea, I didn't know if he was given the option to but you seem to know.

How many coaches don't defend the player they are playing whether their choice or not?

So he was forced to play Sanchez starting in his rookie years and for all those years of poor play?

He couldn't have gone to the GM earlier and said we have to get more QB options?

Not sure? That's what I'm asking you. I have no idea what the coach/GM relationship was like.

Cooley doesn't work for the Skins... helps with the ethical part of this, but I have no idea how he's reporting on Bengals news.

Ryan/Sanchez went to back to back AFC Championship games... starting as a rookie, and reason to defend after that.

It's no secret that Rex is no QB whisperer though.

Who do you guys think this year's surprise firing is going to be?

I think it's gunna be Harbaugh. Yes they have improved over last year but he has missed the playoffs 3 of the past 4 years.

                  I don't either.

But it would be unusual if he had no input on such a big pick or if it wasn't his decision to play him.

So it's doubtful Sanchez was forced on him.

In Buffalo, he presumably had a big say on playing Taylor over Manuel.

Otherwise, being a HC isn't what it's cracked up to be, in terms of deciding what happens on the field.

That's what happens when you run your mouth with a record below .500.

If he was less of a sideshow I think he would've gotten another year here.

Plus, he's leaving us in worse shape then when he got here. That's the worst part IMO.

Well, after a about 3-4 years of being somewhat stable it looks like the Bills are back to being a clown show "sigh"

Apparently it was Whaley that convinced Pegula to fire the Ryan Bros. and we all know that he's going to move heaven and earth to prove that he didn't make a mistake with EJ thus he starts this week. Honestly, the Pegulas should've canned Whaley's incompetent *** as well. I guess this means Taylor will be shown the door as well.

Whaley has also been tasked with hiring the next head coach. This is going to either be really good or a colossal misfire.

I would've kept Rex another year but his big mouth and the way he got off on the wrong foot by pushing his defense onto a team that already had an elite D sunk him.

Whaley has done nothing in his time here besides trade a first round pick to move up for Watkins and draft EJ Manuel.

Why he gets a pass is beyond me.

I want everyone associated with this dumpster fire to be shown the door. It's all just setting up to be another band-aid one area (Whaley when we inevitably suck next year) and keep us in this perpetual 7-9 purgatory of sadness.

Nah, not Harbaugh. This was probably his last year under his honeymoon period. If we miss the playoffs next year then he is on the hot seat.

Any ideas as to where Ryan goes from here? I definitely wouldn't mind if he came back to the Ravens to run our defense

My guess would be TV for year or two. Good money and hour, has the personality for it.

                              Harbaugh is not going anywhere.

And honestly, the biggest problem with the Ravens since they won the superbowl has been depth... none at LB after Ray, none at safety after Reed, none on the oline after Ogden... average at best at RB after Rice. No need to even mention WR. The only area with adequate depth is really TE, go figure.

A bulls eye should be painted on Ozzie's back before anyone else, and that DEFINITELY is NOT happening. Harbaugh will get at least another year.
