    Interesting stat:

Drew Brees needs 142 yards for his 5th career season with 5,000+. The rest of the @NFL has four 5,000 yard passing seasons…ever.

Lol all good man. It should be easier after this week since there won't be that many to make each weekend.

Yeah, when I saw this news this morning I thought it was only natural. Kubiak's had some health issues the last couple years or so. It's better to go out with your health in tact rather than have something unfortunate happen on a plane or something like that.

Raise your hand if you had Sam Bradford breaking Drew Brees's completion percentage record this season.

Apparently Trent Baalke has said during a radio interview his already fired, with no official announcement from the 49ers yet. Messy divorce incoming.

Actually he took the high road. He's not burning bridges, probably hoping to get another job somewhere.

Yeah, I'd read he'd been told a couple days ago, and Chip Kelly has a meeting w/ ownership after today's game.

The big news that came out today about Baalke is that he blocked the team from hiring Adam Gase at the 11th hour in 2015, who's now doing well in Miami.

High road? He made the announcement over the radio while the 49ers are playing.

I wouldn't call that very professional.

He was asked the question. Would you have rather he lied?

Give them the standard "I can't comment at this time" answer. Why?

                          That's why.

Not the most professional approach to announce you have been fired during the game. That's not going to win over any other team any time soon. Regardless of whether it was true or not, there are standards that are expected of you.

Personally, if I were a fan of the 9ers I would rather he be honest when asked.

And you are fooling yourself if you don't think we as fans don't know what "I can't answer at this time" means.

Oh I know exactly what it means.

But I just don't think it is very professional to announce it literally just as the game kicks off.
