I know it doesn't do much.

I can sue you for offending me on an Internet forum and claim mental damages.

Doesn't mean anything would come of it.

Yea I know that not every time they would get compensation but in cases like this there is a good chance that the family would get something from Hernandez and probably not the team/Krafts. I forget what they have to prove in these cases though, I remember hearing about it in my business law class.

Don't get me wrong as I'm not sympathetic towards Aaron. The psychopath is where he deserves to be, but I can't even imagine that feeling.

        Sad story all around.

Yeah the whole thing is tragic. Hernandez has a kid who will grow up with this hovering over her during her whole life, and also without a father. His mother and fiancé are going through this horrible thing, and they are on the hook for years going to the prison, dealing with him, listening to him with his stories and how he's getting an appeal, yada yada. Hopefully the finance distances herself from Hernandez and moves on with her life.

Lloyds poor mother lost her son for no reason to this maniac millionaire. Makes no sense why this man killed another man, Id seriously like to know what made Hernandez kill this guy. Like life was a game to him. He was just whatever, he's the greatest, kiss his cleaning lady cause he the man, kill this dude cause he's the man.

Could have sworn that in my business law class, they basically taught us that if the guy is found guilty in criminal court, there's like a 99% chance you win in civil court if you sue.

Absolutely zero chance they win any case against the Patriots. I hate the Pats but would wish the law allowed them to counter sue for wasting their time if that even happened.

Yep as the burden of proof is not that high in civil cases. The family can probably get money that he would have made working + plus some other damages.

Unless the Pats covered it up, you can't really get any money from it. It would be hard to prove even in a civil case as the Pats won't talk and I doubt they have an email or phone call.

When this first happened/came out there was a report that Hernandez sent some text messages to Belichick but we never found out what these messages said.

Eh, it's hard to hold that kinda thing against him for me. We only see him on screen for like 1% of his day and you never know how you'd react if your life was spiraling out of control and all you could do is sit and watch it happen

Listening to reporters they painted the picture he has this arrogance to him when he walked in the room. They said it was similar to his demeanor when he walked into a Patriots news conference.

It sounds like this event didn't even change his demeanor

I mean, I guess? He's already been convicted of 1st degree murder and he's still up for a double murder. Not to mention he shot some guy in the face who presumably was an associate of his. And that's just what we definitely know of. He's a piece of ****. I have enough information about what he does when he's not on camera at this point.

Oh don't get me wrong lol. He's clearly a messed up individual and a criminal. I was more talking about holding it against him that he wasn't getting all emotional on camera.
