Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread

I mean it's time value. You'd rather have a dollar today than a dollar tomorrow, unless you can turn that dollar tomorrow into two dollars.

Is there someone in the draft next year that's worth waiting for? Mariota?

And how do you know if you'll be able to get one next year? Too many questions to risk it, especially if that's one of your top needs.

If your in the market for a franchise QB but have another needs at the same time, do you think this years class of QB's are looking better then next years. I know we dont know who could bounce there Junior year next year but we were looking at this years names and next years possible draft choices. This years seems stronger to me but others think next years class with Petty, Miller, wallace and others could be as good if not better. Just seems to me this draft class has enough QB's that you could develop overtime in terms of a QB eho could start next week for your team
I agree. next years class is decent, but it doesn't seem as deep though. It will probably gain depth with guys who've we never heard of who have good seasons next year. Think of how high guys like Carr, Bortles, Brett Smith, or David Fales rose this year. On th flip side other guys could tank an regret not coming out like Logan Thomas, or Stephen Morris this year

You also have winston. I can see him being one that leaves fsu early especially if he has another breakout year.

Johnny looked pretty confident at his pro day. Found it interesting that Cleveland was one of only two teams that didn't show up. Mike Evans seems to be 1b behind Watkins now.

Next year's QB Class is pretty top heavy, with Winston/Mariota/Petty leading the way and then maybe Brent Hundley?

I like Hundley more than Mariota, can't trust Oregon qb's.

Kellen Clemens is still goin' strong. And Joey Harrington had an okay career.

Rumor that Buffalo is interested in trading up to #1. I'd have to imagine it's to draft one of the linemen.

I'd guess Mack over a lineman.

That's a lot to give up.

Oh sorry, lol. I consider Mack a defensive linemen, so he was one of the guys I expected they'd move up for.

There is a possibility that Winston may not be in the draft next year, but I don't believe that.
