Also, this was roughly 3-4 hours after the game ended.
Ah maybe that's why. I drove through there about 20 minutes after the game was over and there were some people in the streets but it wasn't bad yet. I did see video of people trying to flip cars and throwing trash cans and **** on 16th though. Just stupidity.

Sorry you feel that way King.

I sure didn't mean to denigrate Cam's character, just because he didn't give the greatest press conference in the world.

I would be upset if the CEO of my company acted like Cam did after a big financial loss last quarter. To whom much is given, much is required. He said he wants to be the face of the NFL - act like it.

Please. Like I said, stop holding these athletes to standards above the rest of us. He's not the CEO of a company. He is not the owner of a Fortune 500, he's not president of the United States. Please leave you're strawmen at home.

Gimme a day or so and I'll be ok but right after the game, I couldn't do it. Those players on the Panthers who are speaking to Media are better than me(even though they have to talk to them)because I couldn't do that and I would've took the fine from the league.

Those other panther players speaking to the media and being classy are what PROFESSIONALS do.

Cam didn't act like a professional last night and acted more like a crybaby. EVERY MEDIA outlet I've heard today is calling him a spoiled baby rightfully so.

Super Bowl 50: Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers Game Discussion Thread

This Cam Newton stuff is so tiring.

Neither side is right. Neither side is wrong. They just... are. It's opinions. We all got them, nobody is better or worse then someone else for how they feel (as long as it's in bounds).

I don't need to analyze his friggin' body language or compare him to some other example to make a case. That's so dumb. We get it, you feel a certain way. You ain't convincing anyone of anything.

I know the game is more then just a game when it reaches the Super Bowl, but I wish we could just judge the game. It was a competitive, great defensive game. Bit sloppy offensively even with the good defense. Got to witness one of the greatest defensive performances in SB history. That was a treat.

Fans of football won last night. I was completely satisfied with the game. End of story. Let's save the post game comments or lack thereof for the tabloids. Getting all hung up on stupid stuff.

Yeah, my comments were insensitive towards the Bowlen family, I guess. Though I don't know if that has any bearing on whether she was a great choice for spokesperson. Maybe that's still offensive, idk.

The "ceremony" was uncoordinated, unexciting, and looked more stilted than ever. I mean, it was barely held together... The only person that seemed to know what they were going to say was Mrs. Bowlen.

As a Vols fan, pretty cool that Malik Jackson scored the first TD and Britton Colquitt played a key role keeping the Panthers pinned back with his punts. Oh, and that Peyton guy got a ring, too.

I love ya, Peyton, but it's time. It's time.

Cam didn't have the best of nights, on or off the field. It happens. It's kind of funny to see the two extremes on the Cam spectrum. I think I'll stay in the middle.

I feel bad for Thomas Davis. That guy is a warrior. One of the most underrated players in the league.

You're right. Everyone else was worried about what they had to do to get up to that stage. Shame on them for not worrying about what they would say if they did get there.

Thomas Davis' arm looks like a football, laces and all.

Already been known as a class act and a madman coming back from repeated injury in the past, but 2 weeks after breaking an arm to be playing football as a LB is just nuts to me. He didn't drop off either. I can only remember one play where it affected his ability. Denver offense didn't capitalize if he was down in performance.

All guts, man. This is the type of extra stuff we should be talking about.
