He still has to make the kick.

If he can only make it when everything goes perfect then he doesn't have the nerves required.

      Again.

      One job.

      Make the kick.

Regardless, Denver made them kick it again, which is the point of the timeout.

Yeah I feel we are pretty lucky to walk away with that one. But we got lucky quite a bit last year too, I guess.

I know that if I was a Panthers fan I would be pretty salty about that one. My words dont mean anything but for real, good game. I think you guys are gonna run away with the division again.

Good luck to everyone else this weekend. Football is back! LOVE this time of year

Id agree with you if the kick was from 30. This was from 50.

I'm not sure why people are crucifying a kicker for missing a 50-yard field goal with a poor snap.

People can scream "one job", but it's a hard job, and these are the best there are at it.

Seriously, Id give it to Anderson. Everyone Woo Wooing a QB that threw under 200 yards and only scored one touchdown.

Terribly reffed game. Cam got hit in the head by Miller, #48, and Stewart yet not a single targeting foul was called. Chris Harris' int was due to him getting there early. And let's not forget that Carolina had to waste a timeout before a challenge due to the fact that the officials gave Sanders that first down.

There was some absolute bull**** officiating tonight but we had the game in our hands and couldn't convert. Offense was pretty much night and day after Cam got sandwiched and hurt.

Gano has to make that. He has to.

Gano has to make a 50 yard FG with a horrible snap. Dont understand it.

Even though the Panthers lost I got to give it up to Cam Newton. That's the kind of game where you show that you're legitimately a great QB in this league. Even in the 1st half when he was showing bad body language and all he pushed himself to do better and play a whale of a ballgame.

I think even those who criticized him after the SB would tip their hat to him and recognize the toughness both mental and physical that he showed tonight. I didn't like that they got away from Kelvin Benjamin for a long stretch in the 2nd half but other than that it was a well played game.
