I believe Russini, she's highly credible, and these dope owners who think they know everything don't want to feel intimidated in the interview process, it's incredible how simple the decision making actually can be


edit: not all owners, but some were born on third base and thought they hit a triple

The biggest issue is him. He's old school football and that's not what is hot right now. His floor is high but no one sees him as being the coach to raise the ceiling to a top team. He needs to step back, make some relationships with the younger up and coming offensive coaches, and then see if he can get another shot after learning some.

If the younger, inexperienced coaches fail quickly, the trend will shift back to experienced HCs.

Saw a report that Chip Kelly has interviewed for the Seattle OC job. It feels like a lock at this point that he wants to bolt for the NFL and I think he gets a OC job

This is just awkward situation for Kelly and UCLA. They went from wanting to fire him if he didn't beat USC, then those rumors just poofing away. I don't blame him for wanting to bolt. In theory that team was still set up well for future before those rumors came up

Colts snagged Charlie Partridge from Pitt. Hate it for Pitt, the man is a great D-line coach and coached up some of Pitt's best linemen. On the other hand, guy deserves it.

He’s from DC so I get why he would want to be there.
