There've been others with single digits but I can't remember the rule about it. There was a thread talking about someone with a single digit number a while ago.

I know that he played QB in high school and wanted to a Boise State. Do you think the Panthers might sub him in special packages, and gave him a QB number?

No, I don't see him playing QB. There are better guys that played QB in college that don't get run. I don't see them doing much with a guy that threw the ball in HS.

It's never good when a guy goes down without contact. I'm expecting Beason to be out for a long time. The defense was gashed today, and it's not going to get better with the best player not of the field.

Good to see Cam get his stuff together to score the game winning TD. That 2 PT conversion was also a great play.
