True... unless he can show something of course. I don't see that happening against the Ravens 1st or 2nd string D so early in the preseason. I hope he does win the 2nd string job... get rid of Collins and keep the 3 young guys.

You can probably add Portis to that list, as well.

I would like to see what Haynesworth looks like on the Skins D but for the Ravens I'm glad we'll get to see what Williams, Smith, Harper and Washington look like against first string defenses. I also want to see how Flacco does without his security blanket out there.

I will be watching Malcom Kelly closely. I really want to see him perfome well overall, but more importantly walk off the field under his own power.

How's Fred "Sleepy" Davis been looking in camp? Haven't heard much about him in the Post or on Comcast so I wanted to see how he was looking. Heard Devin Thomas was doing alright up until he injured his hamstring, I believe.

Just heard today that Davis looks much better and understands routes better. That's about all I got. Thomas did do something to his hamstring so probably won't see him tomorrow.

My eyes will be glued to the Redskins Offensive line. After the reports in training camp, I need to see these guys come out and have a decent showing to ease my mind. As well as Malcom Kelly, Devin Thomas, and Fred Davis.

(No one on these boards).....but please, please, please, quit the Colt Brennen talk. This guy was close to not being drafted at all. Jim Zorn said it himself when he drafted him that he was a Project. And if people thin getting rid of Campbell and letting Brennen take over the reigns as the starter, really need there football IQ checked.

To be fair, online most of those people appear to be Hawaii fans.

Hawaii fans are widely noted for being the least knowledgeable fan base to ever exist. I understand that when we allowed them to join the union we refused to teach them how to play football, but at this point, their idiocy has passed the point of absurdity.

LMAO....great post Cebby, on the way home and I'm listening to ESPN 980, Sprint Pre Game Show, and Sonny Jerguson just said Colt is fighting for a 3rd QB spot, and Chase Daniels is pushing him for that spot. Sonny said Jim Zorn told him Colt is having issues with fundamentals.......

Justin Tryon got abused in the first half, by Kelly Washington tonight. He isn't ready to be counted on.

he got abused by whoever he was covering. i think the playcalls in the ravens huddle went like this, "uh, just line up and whoever has number 20 over top of them, be ready..."

Wasn't he guarding Harper on the td pass? That might be enough to get someone cut. Considering the down/distance and time remaining, there's no excuse to bite on a double move or let the WR get behind him at all. It's the first preseason game so no biggie, but that one should've been obvious.

It was just an awful performance. Reading Terls blog I was expecting big things out of Tryon in that game, he somehow looked like he had regressed from exactly one year ago. Poor technique, bad footwork, sloppy with his hands, extra steps.

I just lost a lot of faith that I had in him. Smoot=Old, Rodgers=contract year, Branes=Rookie. There is room for him to make noise on the CB depth chart but thus far he has failed to do so.

It'll be great if he comes through but not too big of an issue. Smoot isn't too old. His age just brings a bigger concern about injuries (imo). Rodgers should step up in a contract year if he's worth it. I'm hearing nothing but great things about Hall on the field and his attitude. With a better pass rush that couldn't really be seen without Haynesworth in there, the whole group will look better.
