I thank god whenever I see Daniels play good, that means the cult of Colt can hitch a ride out of town with him when he eventually gets cut and all this foolishness can stop about Colt needing to be starting over JC.

less than one half of a preseason game doesn't make a career, obviously. but daniel is just better than brennan i think. colt makes the same mistakes fundamentally as last year. it has got to frustrate zorn to see him not really take to coaching. i am in no way saying daniel should be the starter, that would be crazy. i think j.c. is the best option on that team by far. i will say that for some reason daniel reminds me of drew brees. i think i made that comparison when talking to someone on here before, but they are similar in stature (brees is a little taller but not by much). they had/have the same knocks on them coming out of college (played in an offense that caters to crazy stats). and they just seem to have the same demeanor. the skins may have gotten lucky getting him. not saying he is going to develop into a qb on the same level as a brees, but you never know...

Agree Colt should not be starting over Campbell, but Campbell is not the long term answer at QB for the Redskins hopefully Snyder sees this and pursues Colt McCoy or Sam Bradford in the draft

That would be a very "Redskins" thing to do.

Then we can upgrade Rogers for a guy who gets four interceptions and gives up 10 touchdowns with no run support.

Please tell me your being sarcastic....please. Changing QB's and Coaches every few years is not a proven way to win in the NFL....but if that's what people want, that's what ole Danny Boy will be happily to satisfy you.

Even if Campbell has a pro bowl year here this year....not a chance he comes back. Seriously, if on your job you spent a recruiting period where your boss was constantly looking to upgrade you with other outside talent...would you stay when you had a chance to leave? He is as good as gone. Either him walking...or Snyder going with the flavor of the month. McCoy or Bradford...come on down.

Marko apparently is the real deal. Great Speed and Size and is playing with fire. All the talk in the camp is how this cat is uncoverable...as burned Hall, Rodgers, and Smoot constantly. I hope that is a good thing and not a bad thing on our CB. Was the reason Hall and Mitchell got into a scrum. We need a WR with that Fire.

After the Steelers game...still a little concerned with Campbell. Again, it was all situational, but we need to see some consistency from him. Read a quote from the Post stating on that first play bomb to Kelley that "Kelley's Speed really surprised him". I know Kelley has been in and out but you better dam be on the same page as your WR's if you are going to be a successful QB. I don't like reading things like that...

On the flip note...MAN!!! The defense is going to be a whole lot of fun to watch this year. Have you guys ever seen the kind of rush we had going with just 4 DL in the first few serious. I was as giddy as a school gal watching those first few possessions. Sure, who know if Fat Al will be a bust, but man is it going to be fun to watch while it lasts.....

If the skins want him, Jason can't go anywhere. He is a restricted FA this year and there is always the franchise tag. His best bet is to play like a Franchise QB, cash in with the big longterm deal. The inconsistant Eliza Manning got 97 million on the strenght of a lucky catch and Pleixglass playing for a new contract.

If Campbell has a really good year (20+ TDs, Play-off win, Pro Bowl, etc) he could easily land in the 70-85 million range over 6 years. Which Snyder would have to pay with a super bowl caliber defense in it's window.

As far as the post quote. It would be like I saw Cebby and told him to run a post. As little time as Kelly has spent with the 1's it's no surprise their timing is off. Dude, was a waste last year, and from all indications it'll be Moss, Thomas and Randel El, in the top three receiving spots.

i agree on dorsey. we need a guy like him just to be a return specialist and get some spot duty at rb. unfortunately i was listening to the radio today and hanrahan on 980 seems to think he has ZERO shot at making the team. i hope he is wrong...

Making the roster as RB is tough. Forwhatever reason they like Betts. CP isn't goinh anywhere and Cartright is entrenched at the 3rd RB spot becuase he can also play FB (he did at Kansas St) and on special teams. This team won't keep 4. Last year I was shocked Marcus Mason didn't make the team. Perhaps when Betts' deal has a year left on it (read: next season) they will make a move.

I heard that Zorn and Danny said they really like Dorsey. Hopes this mean he'll make the team. Really have to impress on Friday night.

Also heard that Devin Thomas is slipping down on the depth chart. So I guess that means Marko Mitchell will make the team.

I was really impressed with the last drive as far as passing goes. Getting that 3rd and long then the big play to Cooley. It is amazing what can happen if the line gives Campbell time to keep his eyes down the field not looking down to avoid the rush.
