I kinda like the big *** "R" with the yellow helmet. I know that one looks silly but for some reason, I'm always using that uniform in Madden.

Man, We really need some speed in the backfield. Just something to give the defense. That's where I think Aldridge would've done us some good. Betts sucks and should be let go. Portis dont' have the breakaway speed. I just wish we were faster.

he don't breakaway because defences are not scared of campbell if you had a legit qb he would prolly have 1600 yards easy a year

No, he can't break away bc he's getting old... but that says nothing about the yards he'll get, just big plays. You know he ran for almost 1500 yards last year? And that was with the line in shambles for half the season and the same QB everyone loves to hate on.

We need our Coach to grow some balls and the players to TRY. No 100 million dollar player should EVER be tired, period.

A legit QB wouldn't gain anymore yards on the 3rd down Cooley screens and Betts draws than Campbell does.

Is he getting tired or not trying? Can't be both.

He was most definitely one of the bright spots out there and did it exactly like last year on the Titans (when he got tired at times too). The contract doesn't matter either. He'll never get that number and everyone knows it so doesn't make sense to throw it around when trying to criticize him... especially since I don't know what you're criticizing him for.

                  Re: Washington Redskins Official Thread

Zorn finally address the soft coverage...

Redskins coach Jim Zorn addressed Monday the cottony-soft coverage his cornerbacks, including DeAngelo Hall, threw ineffectively at the New York Giants in Sunday's 23-17 loss. The Giants converted several third-down passes on comeback routes when defensive backs either were too far off the receiver or, in Hall's case at least once, slipped or stumbled trying to recover:
Said Zorn: “The only thing that I can go on in the things that I saw was that we gave a little too much cushion in the secondary. We needed to get closer, ride closer to those receivers to make plays. When we did we proved we could knock the ball down. We proved that we could slip inside and potentially get an interception. When we didn’t, it just seemed to be easy. When the protection was there, it was easy. Those are things that we will learn.
"(Secondary coach Jerry Gray) is a great coach. I think our guys really listen well. We will continue to get closer and closer to those receivers. They had some long drives, but I think they will get more and more used to that idea of getting closer and closer to those receivers. I think that is what it was.”

A Man can't get tired?..are you for real?..Our defense was on the field all day long. To be Big Al did a his part, did a great job actually. He led Fletcher to get 18 tackles, which I think by the end of the year Fletcher will lead the leauge because of AL. AL frees up Fletcher from the O-line man.

When AL got here, he said he's not going to get that many sacks, he's going to take up space and give other people a chance, So that means Carter is getting one on ones, and the other end

We need to replace Daniels, I really want Rakpo so start right there. I think he can beat many one on ones.

So just because he makes 100 million that makes him superman now, they were double teaming him some of the game. Two 300 lb. men laying and pushing on you tends to make you just a little tired.

let me re say that i think you miss understood i am saying since cambell is not a polished qb the defences stack in the box and that is why portis has no big runs
it has nothing to do with campbells running ability i was talking about his throwing ability.

My point is his throwing ability is more of a mystery than conclusively bad.

Teams stack the box because they know that there won't ever be any attempts to throw the ball downfield until we're down 10-17 in the fourth.

You skipped right over my post... Portis ran for almost 1500 yards last year with the same QB and with the oline beat up for half the season.

It's possible that the Giants (thought to have arguably the best D line in the NFL) are just good.

Ok, I'll edit the statement to 50 million. Now for tired or not trying - yes it can be both. He was tired, becasue he did not try hard enough during the pre-season, practice, etc... heck, I'll even make it 10 million, no DT like him making 10 million should be on the sideline - huffing and puffing - on 3RD DOWN!
