On Blache.. his defense is so base...We better throw something different at Stafford
yeah, i have heard people defend moss on this but my opinion is that if you are a pro then you should be prepared to make a play whenever the ball comes your way wether it is on the first play of the game or in the 4th quarter. i saw that fumble the other day coming. just been santana's m.o. he is a great player but he has a tendency to disappear and he kinda sulks when he isn't getting touches. he is a team player so you won't hear him complain about it but he just loses interest and focus and turnovers like the one last week are the result...

TOTALLY agree. zorn just isn't ready man. he seemed like maybe he was at the beginning last year, but man, that sequence where danny smith was basically physically restraining zorn from calling a timeout WAY too soon in the playclock tells a lot. i think he would have been in over his head had he just been the OC. typical danny boy move, make the guy the head coach since the hot item of the week had already turned you down...

you know, this is what pisses me right off with the redskins. zorn says they brought back alridge cuz he is ready to play right now. he said it didn't make sense to sign an o lineman since someone from off the street would need weeks to be ready to play. i totally agree with this. here is the problem, he says alridge is ready to play but i bet he is inactive this week. you got 3 guys ahead of him who are basically slight variations of the SAME DAMN PLAYER. make dude active. put him in on third downs and give him a draw, throw him a screen. get him in space. let him try to make some plays in the return game. but alas this is the redskins and they make moves like this and do nothing with the player. oh yeah, something funny i heard zorn say this week too. someone mentioned the fact that other teams get down on the goal line and throw fades to their big wideouts. zorn was like "yeah, we did that, they threw a flag but ended up picking it up...". the hell? that play was run from like the 15 yard line and the ball was thrown at randle el. if the goal line fade that the 'skins want to run is to el? jesus....

What makes me mad as a Skins fan is that, I think that the team is talented. They have enough players to make plays a win games. The NFL is not just about Sundays. It's about Monday thru Saturday also. Gameplanning during the week, OTA's, the Draft, making smart personnal decisions, etc. The Redskins fail at this aspect of the process. When they show up on gameday they aren't playing with a full deck. They show up on Sundays hoping that things fall into place so they win, instead of going out and executing. I know as fans we have high and sometimes unrealistic expectations. Sometimes it looks like they don't have a clue to what is going on. I'm talking about the entire organization. It has been like this for awhile.
I look forward to Redskins game more than anything in the world. It's more than a game, it's almost like an experience. It's a time when my entire family can come together and experience it. Hell, sometimes my brother and I will tailgate in the freaking backyard with friends and family some Sundays. I love it. I know everybody may not be as passionate as me. Just some of my thought. So when I say I am a die hard Redskins fan, I mean it.

I'm telling ya'll we can replace the coach and the front office it doesn't matter cause Danny boy won't get out of the way. He is so arrogant as to think he can do the football stuff better than the people who have done for years and years, and over the past 10 years his arrogance has cost us the die hard fans of this team.
Clinton Portis is saying what I have been telling my father for a while the younger fans have nothing to hold on to with this franchise hell i'm 27 and just barely remember the last Superbowl, the fans younger than me don't even have that and there not going to sit around and wait while he screws up the franchise even more. If Danny doesn't change his ways he is going to kill off a whole generation of Redskins fans. It's a shame to, for a franchise that has such a rich history.

Yea. Mornhinweg has been great. IF Zorn is at the helm next season then hiring an O-Coord. should be a must.

              Al Saunders anyone?

Even though I'd rather they scrap the WCO altogether, if they decide to keep it next year, one guy I would look at would be Jeff Jagdonzinski(*sp)for OC.

Zorn fits in fine considering the owner (Snyder) and GM (Cerrato) breed of arrogance and stupidity when it comes to running a football team.

Didn't know that. Thats a long time. I think the Skins win 27-17. I don't care if we only win by one point. I just want a victory.
Careful what you wish for, lol. Nice avatar.

Skins fans are funny. Seems like the Skins lost by 20 last week. If I remember correctly, they won the game. Last year the Rams were a worse team and the Skins lost to them. Last year the Eagles were a game away from the SB and they tied a horrible Cincy team. It's the NFL. The guys on the other side are playing pretty hard too. There's no denying the Skins aren't clicking on all cylinders right now but lets not go crazy. They got into the red zone, now they need to finish. It's week 3 and the team's 1-1... just like expected.

Feel free to blast Danny for not drafting olinemen last year or the year before, or getting more help for the line in the offseason. No excuse for that and they're already paying for it. But everything else is a bit overboard. I'd be pretty shocked if they lost next week, even though it's not as easy to win in Detroit as last year seemed to make it look. It'll probably be a close game but I don't see the Lions pulling this one out. We'll see.

i can remember the good times, just the bad times way outweight them now. they play with no sense of urgency. probably cuz they are not coached with any sense of urgency. somebody had to lose to the lions to break the streak. hell, when thinking about dan snyder, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy...i think what i really hate about him is he is a coward. he and jerry jones are essentially the same guy in terms of how they run their business. at least jones is always at the forefront answering questions. snyder just hides and lets the coaches and players answer for the ineptitude all the time. how about the fact that they have the worst personnel dept in probably the entire league. the best thing about jack kent cooke was that he threw money at the team (much like snyder), but he did that then hired people who knew what the hell they were doing and held them accountable for producing a quality product. snyder throws money at it then trys to micro manage it. this ain't six flags, or some marketing company. sign the checks and butt out. f'ing IDIOT...
